alternative to rockwool/clay balls method..

hey all im new to hydro, not new to growing and I was wondering if there is a way to do it from seed to bud in in something i can put in a small cab about 4 inches from side to side on the inside and a foot high. I have a fish tank air thingy and a air stone.

really in all seriousness theres realy not much alternative or we'd be using im im sure everyone hates washing hydrotons and dealing with the low quality of rockwool cubes...

sure to grow is a company working on changing all that but, seems to be untested as far as marijuana goes, give it a shot and let us know how it goes....

I don't use any medium at all in my DWC, medium is overrated IMO. Just hang them roots in the water, they love it. From seed is a little trickier but search here and you will find guys doing it on floating plates & stuff. Best of luck on your new endeavor.

Are you pulling our leg? 4"x 12" high grow space? Just use perlite in a beer cup hempy bucket...

haha nope im not pulling your leg.. its a old cab laying around that i slapped some pc fans on and a cfl.. Im pretty sure those are the measurements. I think it could have some potential so im giving it a go lol.

For a small setup use a mixture of sphagnum moss and vermiculite or perlite and drain to waste. Skip the DWC.
