Mycorrhizal fungi????

I do, I actually inoculate my soil with a mix of beneficial bacteria & fungi. On top of that I use a fairly large amount of compost.

It does seem to make quite a difference, especially when I've had heat/pest stress. The plants rebound faster and take less damage.

I make my own tea & the compost is rich in both. I've used commercial products in the past (GH made one, can't remember the name, came in little self dissolving bags) and they seemed to work fairly well. I'm just cheap and the product was fairly spendy.

I've been using Soluble Myco Madness, seems to work quite well. I inoculated my soil/coco mix and waited a week before planting. I also put in in my AACT.

It's good to hear about these other products, I'll compare price and ingredients before next purchase.

I'm trying this grow technique that trys to maximize the advantages of the friendly microherd. About 5" of Hydroton in the bottom of the bucket, sitting atop an airstone. Constant bubbling of this small reseviour forces nutrient laden moisture up through a rich mix of FFOF, Perlite, Blood Meal, Kelp Meal, Dolomite Lime, and a little Epsom Salt. Then add coco so the ratio is 50% soil-50% coco. Stir in some MycoMadness, then fill up the top 2/3rds of the bucket with this organic medium. Fill the res (bot.of the bucket) with water to cover Hydroton and start blowing air. Wait a week for the fungi to bloom and the bacteria to get a good hold.

The fluffy, airy mix is kept at the perfect level of wetness, and the whole mass is supercharged by the airflow bubbling upwards.

Look close, you can see all the biology on the surface

I can share more details if your interested.

ya i use the great white which is the new version of plant success...its fairly cheap for me so i use about half strength every watering which for me is three or four days

I'm using fox farm happy frog soil and that also claims to contain michorrizal fungi and bacteria as well. My concern is that my first watering was with tap water which contains chlorine intended to kill bacteria. Since that first watering I've been using water sitting in a bucket so the chlorine can gas out.

Does chlorinated tap water render these products useless?

To get even more scientific about it, water is also sometimes treated with chloramine, for the same purpose, which does not gas out. So its possible that even aged water kills the beneficial bacteria.

i mix dr earth starter fertilizer with fox farm soils, thats got more fungi and something called probiotic to help break down organic matter and aid in nutrient cyceling -i like to use both items, great results. make tea from the starter fetilizer(has kelp and alfalfa meals+ other stuff) i was paying alot for AN tarantula and paranah for a while then stoped useing them and began new fertilizer techniques -dr earth starter fertilizer balacned with bio bizz, add some kelp meal and n-guano to veg a few months while the next crop is finishing up.
theas 4 GDP yealded 8 1/4 ounces at 9,10 weeks -about 70 days, i like to let the cluster build a crown of more clusters, results in biger dincer more potent buds.

and this was my recent from of 4 GDP after the most productive veg iv had indoors, im trying to replicate the recent crop but its not spot on -im being a little more thrifty and stoped useing a few things, i may start useing them again next crop if things dont go very well. (bio bizz line is spendy but very nice stuff )

When the pots are full of roots, like right now usually half way into bloom I’m watering every day -their thrust and hunger is insatiable.

i have a bucket that airates overnight, dont think theirs any worries after 12 hours bubleing. i was leting it sit overnight befor i got the pump.. their is a chemical tracer of cholrien -choramine left behind but the most of it can be evaporated im told, the best thing to do is airate the water overnight. keep the minerals you'd otherwize have to add, cal/mag. -i have a dicussion with an emplyee from vermicrop organics last year @ an instoor promo

i was told to buble it overnight befor adding anything organic, atleast 12 -up to 24 hours befor adding organics

Chemical nutrients are poisons and they do indeed kill your beneficial ecosystem.

I use Espoma's "Bio-Tone". Works great.

well damn, no h2o2 for sure then? ive heard conflicting stories on that one some say oxygen feeds good guys some say its a no no
what about gerts then?
you can only only put organic? how bout like pk13/14?
what are the guidelines
