Been trying to get prices on these, but have a hard time getting clear info. Who did you go through, and what was your cost?

The BC Northern lights is the name of the box, not the strain he's growing.
Im interesed in these, just wondering how much the producer's cost?

YES!!!! There is a God..lol.Just kidding everyone.I am thrilled to see a thread on these.I have often considered getting one.
There was an article in High Times covering a grow in one of these.It was the dudes first grow in it and he grossed 1/2#.He was sure he could get an elbow outta it with a little practice.I think it was strawberry cough he grew.I remember he lived in a small apt so it was underneath the top bunk he slept on in a loft.
Okay my questions are...can they be kept in a cool place as long as its above freezing? i.e. a barn, garage, cold basement.
2. How loud are they? like an ac, fridge ?
3. What are interior temps like? Is there enough air movement?I noticed your xtra fans.
Last but not least..do you feel it was worth the $$? How much time do you spend maintaining it in relation to yield etc...

I had one.
Around $3700
I put in 2 x 430 SunAgros.
18 site DWC stsyem. 4 air stones in it.
1 intake fan in to the cab. 1 exhaust fan in to a charcoal filter. 3 fans exhausting the air from th lights.
It's not silent by any means.
The tub is 2x 4.
For 1 grandish you can have a much better set up. Not as compact, but something that will produce the same amount of buds.
500 for 1000 watt digi ballast and super hortilux bulb.
200 for filter.
200 for a 6" S&P Fan.
100 for a do it your self bubbler system.
200 for odds and end. cords, fans, nutes...etc.
I sold mine and got a tent.
Would never look back.

Ouch! See what you mean. Kinda silly to toss that much cash away on a box that you can pick up waaaaay cheaper even if it is a little diy-ish. Oh well, at least we have a general cost on one now for those that have more money than time. I think I will keep my cash and upgrade my cab.
Hey Buddle, keeping in a cold place is what you have to do. Air movement is decent, i added a simply 6$ fan i put in there to help. interior temps vary with outside temps. Box runs about 8 degrees hotter than room. so my temp in box is about 80...could be a little cooler but its been really hot outside. I feel it was worth the time and money to get them. I got more than my money back off my first donation to the local collective, and plenty of medicine for myself, so ROI ( return on investment ) would at least be 500% a year. Plus as much meds as u can ever want. o yeah, you can definately get at least 16oz....i know one guy who claims to get 40 oz every 60 days. 1.4 gram/watt. ^^.

Phew, so glad I found this thread! Been lurking on here for awhile and studying everything I can in the meantime. I'm putting in an order 2 of these this month and I could really use some guidance. It will be my first grow and I think I'll create a journal on here to hopefully benefit from all of the experts on here.
I'm curious what kind of things you have done to get it dialed in? What kind of yields are getting with that Caboose? If I'm not mistaken that's a hybrid of Big Bud X Train Wreck is that correct?
I'll probably using some Purple Kush clones to start since I can get some off a friend. Excited to get going on this and super stoked to connect with you!

Hey dude, ya the boose is salmon creek Big bud x t-wreck. Its easy to manicure and produces donkeys. ..
To get it dialed in.... get an A/C if u live or keep the boxes in a warm area. definately get 4" flanges and ducting to vent out the air out of the lights out of the room. keep the plants topped. Pending on strain you might need a bushmaster/ phosphoload type additive to help control height. ( I have actually done a box of the purple kush and with my experience they stay very short and squat. Veg them a little taller than you would most cause i dont think the pk will stretch much.) Also I switched to filling the 3" net pots with hydroton instead of 3"rockwool. I find the roots get to the res. way faster with hydroton, essentially growing faster bigger plants....
make sure you get your boxes with full CO2 hook ups.
Use a root innoculate (spelling??) ..great white is the bomb.
Buy a scrog net and put it in the box.
Get a small Ona block for 10$ and just stick it right inside the box.
my first time i ever used the producer box i yielded 10.5 oz.s By the third crop I had a lb. By the 5th 1.25 lbs.
