Very Weird Dream.... what does it mean though?

I

icmag.is.#1

As far as I know dreams have no ultimate meaning. Dreams are just a compilation of conscious thought and subconscious thought. Weave those together and throw in a bit of influence from the surrounding ambient noise and you got your self one hell of a dream

I always have hated dreaming, It's been at least 8 years since I had a dream and just recently because of a lack of erb my dreams have come back and they are more strange than ever.

I hate not being able to tell the difference between something that really happened and something I dreamed about.

Have you ever seen the movie "Waking Life"? If not... go find it and watch it RIGHT NOW... preferably with a big ass spliff of some dank or bowls at your disposal... trust me man you'll thank me for it. :joint:

I went back and looked at that site more thoroughly, not sure if it is the best place to go for info. Do a google search for "dream interpretation" and check out some other sites, you likely will find some better info.

The only thing that was talked about that was in your dream was snakes.

Best place by far would be to get a book on the subject. I'll see if I can dig up some highly recommended books for you to check out. Might take me a few hours to do this though.

Aye brudah... appreciate the research... I'm about to get my "inspector gadget" on myself... then we can see what we come to.

Pz brudahs and sistas

^^ One nice thing about not smoking is the ability to remember your dreams. Keep a notepad by your bed and read up on dreams.

I dream about spiders once in a while....supposedly they're lucky, or are a sign of opportunity being near. Tornados are another one...they supposedly represent sexual frustration. <-- I think it's just the frustration of my boyfriend, hahaha.

This is interesting stuff....thanks for sharing that dream :)

I do this alot Miss B.

Dreams are absolutely relevant :yeahthats

Hope you get it figured OP.... :joint:

I never remember my dreams... Except for one, one dream that was to say the least the most epic and surreal thing I have ever experienced.

It started like yours... but from there it goes another direction, I'm looking at the sky, and there was a huge asteroid getting closer and closer. Imagine the sky on fire and the sun hurling towards the earth. The odd part was I felt no fear what so ever, olny pure awe at what I was witnessing. It hit a few kilometers from me and as the shockwave hit me, the dream ended.

I have never been able to find its meaning, but the dream itself was burned into memory and that feeling of awe and total absence of fear was something else.

I'm sorry this has nothing to do with your dream, or has it answered anything. Just thought I should share. :joint: Peace.

Smoking has a influence on your dream cycles. There is at least one thread here somewhere on the subject. I remember reading at least on study on how smoking affects your brain chemistry and your ability to dream.

I tried to find a good book, but it seems the subject area is filled with a bunch of hooey and hogwash. The only way you can get to the info that will be helpful, and guaranteed to avoid the completely fabricated (one book review I read was from a guy who personally knows a woman who was hired to write one of these books on dream analysis, and she made everything up!), is to read up on Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, and these books are likely going to be kinda dense and hard to read unless you are REALLY REALLY interested in the subject.

Sorry to not get a good title for ya Budsmith. If you are REALLY interested, go with something by Carl Jung, I think he was more thorough in studying all kinds of dreams, whereas Freud was into cigars and penises and such.

this dream means that you need to follow rule number 1 very closely: tell no one!
second rule even closer: tell no one!
no tell, no smell, no sell.
it means care after your girls, keep a tight ship sailor, or the snake will get ya.

peace

OK. Last night I had one of the weirdest dreams to date. From what I can remember I walked out of my front door and when I stepped down the steps I noticed 4 weed plants literally floating in mid-air... :nono: So then after admiring this "hanging garden" I look down and see a dwc rez in the middle of my front yard. I got closer, picked up the rez ( which had no lid on it) and to my astonishment the rez was packed full of the healthiest roots ever... but there were no plants that went with these wonderful roots. It gets even weirder.... roots weren't the only thing in the rez... there were huge ass beetles, millipedes, and all kinds of other nasties. I stood there in amazement.... and right after noticing all those nasties a fuckin' BIG ASS BLACK SNAKE comes popping out from under the roots.... I am deathly afraid of snakes and so I'm guessing all my real life fears carry over to the dream world cause needless to say I dropped that bitch and ran like my life depended on it. This is easily one of the trippiest dreams I ever had.... :yoinks::yoinks::yoinks:

Have any of you ever experienced any crazy shit like this.... do you guys ever even dream about plants? What could all this mean?
You need to be careful of a "friend" thats close to you. Usually snakes or foxes in dreams means someone whos close to you that is usually lying or has ill intentions.

I have a dream dictionary...if I remember right, I think snakes have something to do with sex...

Well damn.... my "monty python" been seeing plenty of action from the old lady... does it mean lack of sex or too much or what?

There's been a ton of research on this. It's pretty well established what dreams mean at this point relative to inner thoughts and your day to day-not a god damn thing.

You gotta be more open minded.... im not saying dreams are the end all and the key to life and all that other ish but i believe there is a hidden meaning behind some of the dreams... i mean i've had de ja vu dreams where I've had a dream and some time later something similar like it happens in real life....I usually stop and tell myself damn I've done this before or I've seen this before... pretty freaky shit

Yeah man I believe dreams have meanings too

I remember some times where I would dream like 5 times a night

I have a very nice dream dictionnary (mom's) and it's full of references

I like dreams, some can be quite scary tough

I heard you have to look at the end feeling of the dream
