1000w in a hut

so im looking to best optimize my yields im going to have anywhere from 17-24 clones of og kush and carmel kush. pretty sure im going the soil route or i could use my 3x3 flood table, but i was wondering do to my lack of space in my 4x4 hut how long should i veg and what not, before i flower and what should i go with hydro or soil.

i am also in a 4x4 "hut" i use a 600hps and im usually veg'n for 3-4 weeks, depending on the strain and it's stretch patterns, i usually figure at the most plants will grow 2/3's where they are at from when you flip em into 12 and 12, so do ur best to leave room, and just guestimate....the rest is just preference, check out the soil and hydro forums, great info for each, or better yet land in the middle do a coco grow

Just "string em".

As in tie em down in some fashion to keep em under the light, go with a scrog if wanted (I prefer independent pieces of yarn myself).

Hydro -if the setup isn't bulky and uses up more room than needed
Soil - could yield less in theory versus hydro BUT more possible grow room/less root room.

I would go soil myself, snap the girls that are getting too big, allow them to heal and train em under the light.

thanks for the input the og likes to stay short and stubby and the carmel unless controlled will shoot up like no tomorrow. im might try and run one in coco to try it out but now that i think about it "F" the hydro its big and bulky and 20 gallons of water sucks just a few more days until roots come along and well be good to go in the soil

p.s. i've failed on a soil i can veg them like no tomorrow in soil but when i flower i run into problem with nutes i was using ffof and earth juice. some of the plants were airy and lacked density even with 1000w

If you're looking to get the highest yield you should go with a perpetual SOG. Since you have clones, you can take clones from them or keep one around as a mother. If you have space you can set up a smaller tent or cabinet for vegging. Most of the tent manufacturers make small tents perfect for that kind of thing. That way you can put a new batch of vegged clones into the flower tent every week if you wanted. In a 4x4 with a 1k light and a bunch of clones, I can only imagine a ridiculous amount of reefer

yeah i was thinking about the sog but i dont have too much room i was going to trim my mothers to pretty much nothing for the clones and flower then let the mother bulk up over the next 60-65 days
