i have a demon tool power supply and scrounged up one fan. have 3x 26 watt cfl's but dont know how many too put in the actual case because the power supply takes up a bit of room...what do you guys think?? i have 6 seedlings that are dependingon me getting this done fast...

I would suggest taking the power supply out, and all the extra extra bay stuff too if you haven't already. I have 4 26 watt spirals. Heat will be a problem if you don't have a decent exhaust fan.

at the moment i only have 1 fan...i have as a intake fan, will making it an exhaust fan keep it cooler until i can get more? and i was thinking about only using 1 26 watt cfl until i can acquire more fans??

You mentioned in the other thread you connected a new one so try to have your best fan as the exhaust. Look on the fan's sticker for the amp ("A") rating and the highest is probably the best. Make sure your exhaust is way up high, and intake is down low. If you get the third fan hooked up as mentioned elsewhere, I would try aiming that at the bulb/s, blowing towards the exhaust. It's easy to try different configurations but my first thought would be to use them like this:

Highest amp - exhaust
Middle amp - blowing on bulb/s
Lowest amp - intake fan

Maybe keep the .14amp to circulate the canopy and replace the rest with much stronger fans. I wouldn't use a computer PSU to run fans (especially in the case) because they are pretty inefficient like 80% power factor. The average computer PSU consumes 40 watts @ idle so running fans off of it will turn it into a 60w heater right inside your case, not to mention the space it takes away from the grow area.

it took the power supply out and its just sitting on top of the tower so room is not to much of an issue but heat is killin me... i replaced the one on the outside with the .12 fan as an exhaust and keep the .14 fan blowing on where the plants would be... so im testing it now, ill check it in about an hour and see what the thermometer tells me.

Are you still using just 1 CFL in there? You are going to have to exceed at least 1.0 amps of well placed fans to cool that grow with all three lights. Removing the power supply will certainly help but your fans are still way under powered @ .37 amps all together.

would using a 14 watt cfl until i can get more fans help them out in the mean time? cause i dont think a 14 watt cfl would have any heat issues...

i transfered everything to a new millennium tower (hella old)... and temps are staying around 77 degrees for the past hour and a half pretty constantly. is this an okay temperature for a few weeks? ill have pics up soon. i put both fans up as exhaust to get rid of a lot of heat and it seems to be working...i think ill take some pics now actually...give me a few minutes.
