Any Gov't Mule fans on here?

I love the mule. I get to see them next month in Arcata. I saw them last November at the Fillmore in SF and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. I can't wait for the new album. I just heard the release date got pushed back till October now. Oh well, should be great music to harvest too. Any other mule fans? Warren Haynes fans? Allman Bros fans? I spend way too much money on muletracks downloading live mule. If you ever get the chance to see the Mule don't miss it.

Yes. I saw them Sat Sept 12 at the Brit in Jacksonville OR. Awesome outdoor concert, bring your own beer or wine if you want, but if you want to smoke you have to go over to the smoking area.

I'll be at the gig coming up in L.A. If anyone is interested, I've got tons of live Mule and love to spread it around. PM me if you're interested. I can do CD's, or arrange uploads of MP3's, or whatever you'd like. I've been a fan of the Mule since their first years out of the Allman Brothers Band. Love Warren, Matt, et al. The late, great Allen Woody is still one of my all-time favorite bass players.

To whet your apptities, here's a track from a November 2005 show in my hometown (Portland, ME) which tore the roof off! It's a cover of Willie Dixon's "I Can't Quit You, Baby" (also made famous by Led Zeppelin.) Follow this link, and prepare to have your doors blown completely off!

Warren Haynes what a great guitarist,I always compare him with Derek Trucks when they play together with the Allmans, shouldn't do that of course.Different guys ,different styles.Great musician "40 days in the hole!!!"

Have ya'll heard them do "Hunger Strike -> Dear Mr Fantasy -> Hunger Strike" ? Beyond sick.

First time I saw Derek Trucks he was 13 opening up for the Brothers on 4th of July. I love they are both in the ABB now, my 2 favorite guitarists in one band!

Not to name drop, but I used to "provide" entertainment for Warren when he'd play in NYC. I remember one evening bringing a nitrous tank and a plethora of nugs to the Wetlands via an invite from his crew at Hard-hat studios. Great guy....lots o' fun. Love the mule....glad he and the Allmans always enjoyed the fruits o' my labor.

I lived in athens for a while and would frequent western NC. I've met warren on more than one occasion. He acts like a dick unless you have some gear he's interested in and then he's your best buddy. I wasn't on enough of his level to talk to him until I let him know that I knew Otho Wilburn RIP and was privy to his tube connections, and I knew where a lot of his gear had been sold to. Now Warren loves to chit chat. I like him waaayyyy better with Gov't Mule than anything Dead related. He's a southern rocker, and that doesn't translate to psychedelic music. I have a friend in NC that has the DAT copies of all of the SBD shows of mule pre '03, all of the x-mas jams, and some col bruce w/ warren. My friend doesn't let people borrow his dats but will gladly copy dat to dat. If there are any shows that you want me to find I'll try to get them and copy from dat to dat to flac.
