Whats up ICMAG!!

So I started this project about 11 weeks ago. This is my FIRST grow and my FIRST cab Ive tried to build. Although Ive been around growing my whole life Ive never felt the need to try it out untill now.

I am bringing my journal (from another forum) over to ICMAG for all you noobs like me trying to get there feet wet in this great hobby. Hopefully some of my mistakes will keep you outta trouble when you try and grow.

Im here to help as much as I can so ask any question and Ill do my best to answer! Wether a link or just some basic knowledge, feel free to ask!

Here is a quick picture essay of my grow so far. I will explain things as I post them so I hope you enjoy the ride!!!

I decided to put this in the GRD&E because it was wher I hungout the most before I started, and hopefully some of you will come awayfrom this journal a bit more educated.

Looks like a great start, can't wait to see more. I'm running a 250 in a cab right now, but I've considered upgrading to a 400.

K.J.- Thanks for stoppin by!! Cool shit!! Im trying to upload pics to the thread so they dont have to be opened, but Im sruggling!!

If i cant get it in a few minutes Im going to just upload them to the site.

Love to see pics of your cab. I work all my magic (3-4 oz every 40 days or so from a 2x4x6) cab. I started growing about 19 months ago.

Like you, my wife is also the GREATEST---she encourages my growroom expansion! Gotta love it when the wife is bugging you to invest MORE in the grow op.

Lessee those pics!

Here is a pic of my DIY Scrubber. Thanks goes out to Durbn Poision for this! Great thread and has worked PERFECTLY!!!

As you can see I am in a closet its about 5x6x8 and inside there I have my cab. As you ca see from the picture above I have the ballast and scrubber next to each other ( BAD IDEA in a closet) They radiate SO MUCH heat together. I had to figure something out before I started growing because my test runs were 90+ degrees!!!!!

S what I did was move the ballast and scrubber above my box, popped 2 holes in the ceiling and installed 2 120mm PC fans to exhaust the closet. This reduced the temps by 15 degrees INSTANTLY!!!!!!!!!

I put screen over the holes to prevent insulation from falling into the fans


I blieve the key to such a drastic temp drop was my "draft box" I hung over both the blower and ballast.

IM AN IDIOT!!!!! WHY THE HELL DID I DELETE THEM FROM IMAGESHACK???? I WILL NEVER KNOW!!! Ill be back tomarrow to fix this journal. you guys will like it! got some GREAT pics from start till now!!

Is that an old freezer? It should only be a small amount of time before Freezerboy himself shows up. You should what he's able to produce from a freezer.

I would try using the photopost on this site; it's kind of kludgy but you'll get the hang of it.

Yeah, what they said about the photo album/posting function on IC Mag...it's easy, use it.

Nah its a plywood cab I built. it only cost me about $25 total.

I am almost done with this grow so Im going to add a few more pics of the girls growing through out the past few weeks.

U-1 and the MM a few weeks later a couple of weeks into 12's


and the gift.... I had to tie her down right away because f how tal she was!!!!

And her is the little nug I finally let my wife clip from under the canopy. we let it dry for 3 days, and the little fucker got both of us stoned! tasted a bit green but i could definatley taste the goodness thats about to come!!!!!






and here is the gift all wieghted down by her lovely colas!!!!
