I have had success growing autos in a 2 litre fizzy drink bottle, that i cut the top off and used as a hempy bucket filled with perlite/vermiculite...
the autos are generally quite small, and it quite a small pot for an auto aswell...

I have 5 new strains coming in the post tomorrow and ive never grown a 12/12 strain before, never mind in 2 litre pots. Would 2 litre pots be too small for plants vegged for about 20-25 days then flowered for 60+?
thanks

what were you pulling on average on the autos in the 2 liters, I have 3 going right now and wasnt sure what to transplant them in, thanks, o0h and thats what I used for my flowering plants and they seem to do fine, but I have to water daily...

how much were you pulling from your 12/12 plants, did you veg at all?
Anyone know if its ok to veg for 20-25 days an flower in 2 litre hempy buckets..
can you transplant hempy buckets to larger ones same as soil?

i am no expert fellas but autos needs at least a 7 and a half litre pots upwards you got no chance pulling nearly an oz off any plant grown in a two litre pot and i dont think even with big pots you are going to be pulling 50g off one plant with autos they need 20 hours of light right though the grow from start to finish what lights are you using kasol and how many plants are you growing

20-25 is a long veg for a 2 liter.......{but maybe not from seed}

i veg'd 10-15 days{from clone}then a 60 day flower in 1 gallon, when i pulled the plant's buckets are fill'd with root's & 30-60 gram yeild {strain depinding} 16 plants per 1k

then again, here is a 45 or so day veg in same 1 gallon bucket with hydroton :) water started overflowing it would not pass the rootmass

They certainly do not need 7.5 litres upwards. A bigger pot makes a big difference to yield but the length of pot is very important for an auto, ie long and thin makes a big difference to autos yield
And I've pulled almost 2 oz on 5 plants, which is not the norm, but it happens with some auto ak47 specimens
i use a 600hps with perlite vermiculite and 1 part nutes. thats it.
you get a much bigger yield from hempy than soil on average. and more vigour
thanks for the advice 00420
