my 2 cents....:2cents:

Mandala and Nirvana have lost cost beans and can have real good quality. I have been fortunate with both vendors.... Kalichakra from Mandala if you like a sativa high. Nirvana, I grew out with great success: Blue Mystic, power plant, Cali O, and Ice.

However, if you are lucky, on seedbay, annaC seeds are pretty awesome. Really cheap considering the killer combos she has. All of the mother plants I have seen on annaC seeds threads are pretty spectacular. I think she's probably one of the most low-key and underrated growers I've seen on the icmag forums. Bless this woman for keeping her seeds so reasonably priced!

a lot of people here (including me) get their beans from nirvana.
only bad thing is their a little inconsitant... so if your looking for something specific then pay out the money for better genetics.
but if your just looking for a good plant that somewhat resembles the description with a little variance then nirvana is great.
i actually like nirvana because of the variety in their seeds, but people that do SOGs, breed, and other things that need plants the same can find it to be a problem.

I will try ACE's feminished Mix, as far as I know contains, PanamaJack, KaliChina and Guawi. Also the regular one is superb to.

Salut!

Mandala rules!

Good vibes from Mike & Jasmine at Mandala, they love what they do and do it well, while nirvana is a money sucker.
Don't hesitate!
Check Mandalaseeds.com, it's a fine website.

Last year I grew:

Satori: outstanding vigor, yield, smell, high... definitely a keeper.

Kalichakra: outstanding smell, really my fav, and high, although can be racy if you indulge too much. another keeper.

This year I grew: (won't comment on smell after 1 month of curing, more needed)

Speed Queen: great vigor, great yielder, huge buds, great resin production and a great smoke. Man I just love this strain! Also a keeper.

White Satin: a bit disappointing, big buds but low resin production and so far still smells and smokes like hay. I'm sure it performs better outdoors.

Mandala #1: super fast strain (had to harvest one plant after only a month into flowering due to mold and buds were looking pretty darn good)(I'm not saying it's not mold resistant, I was unable to provide adequate air circulation due to noise issues), medium yielder indoors, nice speedy high.

And all this for 2 euros a bean.

No doubt I'll grow the other strains in their catalogue...

I hope this helped,

Peace

MNS Dreamtime, Nirvana Aurora Indica, Nirvana White Rhino, Mandala (but they lack a bit of potency IMHO and i've grown 3 of their strains), MNS Shit and if you want a take a risk on some hermies GHS has some very cheap strains (Big Bang, The Church, A.M.S., etc)...Nirvana WR and Aurora are probably the strongest imho...but in a MNS mix pack you could get some very strong hazes!

Mandala is great but they don't have the potency of Nirvana by any means

Really? That's the first I've seen that particular general comment about Mandala. I have seen it mentioned about some of their strains. Anybody else find that to be true about Mandala genetics? I was planning on getting some Mandala beans next grow and would like to hear any other negative comments.

There is a wide difference in the prices of some breeders. However, mandala, joey weed, cannacopia, nirvana, all have similarly priced "cheap" beans.

Out of these "thrifty" breeders, which would you say has the most quality genetics?
hi wellage,
I will assume that you want something good to smoke after the grow is complete.
Seedsman Skunk#1 cheap and good 10 seeds
TFD Pure good n cheap 11 seeds
Mr Nice SHIT,Dreamtime,Devil 18 seeds+ all inexpensive and Excellent

any one of these will give you what you seek and all can produce outstanding plants.

cheers

I don't think there's a lack of potency at Mandala...

I find their F1 hybrids very potent.
And I don't think Satori would have been a high times Top 10 Strains of the Year 2008 if it weren't potent....

just looking at mandala... id say go with nirvana for the selection alone, since they seem to be about the same in potency and quality (judging from what people say here).

also looking at the site i ordered from (which sells single seeds from many companies) mandala seeds are almost 2x more expensive, though it may just be that site. (average of about $5.00/seed from mandala, only $3.30 for every nirvana they have in stock... which is most of them)
so in my experiance...
their half the price, twice the selection, and equal or better quality... but a little more of a gamble with genetics im guessing.
but at half the price... you can afford to get twice as many seeds and have a little fun growing plants that are differnt.

"variety is the spice of life" - someone who seems to know what their talking about (lol... idk who said it)

just my opinion tho...

Nirvana's Bublelicious is a very uniform, resistant and prolific offering. Great in my book.

Well i have a few things to say,

I like nirvana seeds i have grown them there is a lot of varaiation but the product is always good- you can clone all of them and keep your favorite as a mom....

I like Ch9 seeds for low priced feminised seeds, with good results.

I also like the idea somone said hindu kush from sensi is a low priced pack from a reputable dealer...

Also for another fem seed reccomendation, Try Skunk #11 from Dutch Passion, ive seen somone yeild 2lbs from a 400w with that strain

Someone also said fuck being a cheapie, and get a pack of Deep Chunk seeds, that sounds like a good idea, i think ill be ordering a pack of these. (and i dont buy seeds either)
