These are probably the last pictures of the Jacks looking "normal". I am transplanting today and starting LST. A few of the jacks started to get severe N deficiency and slowed growth down to a halt. I didn't have the resources to go grab nutrients, so I gave them some N the old fashion way: 10 parts water 1 part urine. It has worked great and solved the N deficiency. Fox Farm Grow Big and Big Bloom is going to be purchased today and 1/4 Grow Big and a full dosage of Big Bloom will be given once they are transplanted.

I can see the Sativa trait in most of them...they are getting tall and have skinny/long leaves coming out.

Power Kush
She is massive and has obviously out grown the other ones...very large and getting bushy.

White Widow
We decided to grow a White Widow from Dinafem since we are impressed with the Dinafem Kush...seed germinated in about 10 hours and put into soil. As you can see from the picture she sprouted overnight. I am not going to transplant her any time soon.

You can see the Power Kush on the bottom left, and the strongest Jack is in the middle. I will post pictures of them in bigger pots/LST later today.

You are going to see great results with it. I can lower my light to around 5 - 7 inches from the canopy with no heat issues. That has made a substantial difference in their growth. Compared to my previous White Widow grow, these are about 3 - 5 days ahead.

Post a link here if you do a grow diary...I would like to see it as well.

I transplanted them into 3-gallon pots. The reason why I chose fatter pots over longer was because of the diameter. Since I am doing LST, I want to make sure I have enough room. Tomorrow LST will start.

I transplanted the dwarf into a smaller pot, and the White Widow is still in a cup. Power Kush is on the middle left.

Nutrients: 1 tsp Grow Big and 2 TSP Big Bloom. I will update it with pictures tomorrow after LST is started.

LST was performed today...I'll let the auxins take it from here. The Power Kush is the one on the bottom middle. One of the Jacks didn't get any LST because of its size. I also have a WW seedling in there somewhere.

Still lookin good CS, spot on with the cooltube, hooked it up today, brill, 80deg with the 400 about 8 inches away, and its a hot day today.... sorted! I'll start a thread soon.

At what height/age are you going to flip?, are you waiting for pre-flowers?

I am going to flip them on the 20th...right now all the small side branches are shooting up since w/the LST...hopefully I get a good yield.

Side branching is shooting up...and I accidentally broke off one of the tops while trying to tighten down new growth...I guess its now topped...

LST looks messy and its driving me insane, but I guess you have to give up something to gain something. I plan on flowering on the 20th (in 10 days), and I doubt that they will make a complete circle around the pot before that time....but I am pretty sure it will fill up nicely during the initial flowering stretch...what to you guys think?

I already have them in the final pot size...3 gallon pots. I am prepared for a huge stretch...but I will be training them until they stop stretching. I usually use 3 gallon square pots that are longer, but I decided against those to get the best surface area for LST.

5 Weeks old, first day of 12/12

Full strength Grow Big and Big Bloom given today.

I started flowering today because I know the Jacks are going to stretch like crazy and I want to make sure I will have enough room in these pots so I wont have to transplant. They are starting to stink already...such a beautiful aroma...I have a carbon filter waiting to be installed in about two more weeks. Hopefully they will show sex soon and I get at least 2 females from the Jacks...the Power Kush which is in the middle left is a fem so no need to worry...so a minimum of 3 females is what I am looking for, then I can lower the cool tube about 4 inches from the canopy and blast them with lumens...I can't wait.

A couple of the Jacks are scrawny and are taking forever to veg, but hopefully they will fill out since I switched to 12/12.

Any comments/suggestions? I was going to veg them a bit longer but I don't want them to get out of control.

The cool tube is about 8 - 10 inches from the top. LST is going well...I kinda let nature take its course and the canopy has stayed pretty even...I am going to tie a few branches down soon.

Watering
I am following the Fox Farm feeding schedule...full strength Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom once a week. When I am not feeding them nutrients I just give them plain distilled water.

Jack Herer
A bit over a week since 12/12.

One Jack showed balls, another showed pistils. So far 5 total, 1 being female. Hopefully I get a couple more females.

Jack #3 is responding very well to the training...she is the female I spotted so far and she is very strong.


Power Kush

She showed sex a couple of days ago...I kind of hint a nasty cat shit smell coming from her already...I'll be keeping track of the odor.

So all males have been weeded out...I have two fem JH and one fem Power Kush. 3 plants under one 400 with LST shold still give me good results/yield. Will post more details when I get back home.

Watering/Nutrients
Did full strength Tiger Bloom and the Power Kush did not like it, but the Jacks did...I am going to drop down to 1/2 strength for the Kush.

Going on three weeks flowering...the Jacks are taking their sweet time while the Power Kush is budding up very nice. I just did the last LST training a few minutes ago and I do not think I am going to continue unless the canopy goes uneven.

#3 had a few balls hidden...I had to discard him. One of the two females has a lot of bud sites, the other one is very lanky with not much side branching.

They look messy! I should of used bigger containers because these bitches stretched like crazyyyyyyyyy...you can see how much they stick out from the pots....but I knew this was going to happen with this strain.
