1st real grow 7 strains, 5200watts

Wow! Great grow for a first timer!
I'm on my second cycle with a similar room.:joint:

A few suggestions:
Those plastic timers WILL piss you off in the very near future.:wallbash: The timing tends to drift. They also have a very high failure rate. Lowes and HD carry 40amp metal timer boxes in the lighting isle. They run about $40 and are bulletproof. They can handle 4000W with ease. They're also real simple to wire and you can hook up as many plugs as you want. At least up to about a 35amp load with the proper wire guage.

If you recess your dehummer in the wall like the ac unit, it will help with cooling. You can even piggyback on the fan carrying hot air away from the ac unit.

I use similar netting. As you've found out, a scrog is way too labor intensive on this scale. However, the netting will help support and seperate branches as they start to bend late in flower.

Again, congrats

Thanks Fred,

Yes I have discovered those timers suck, already lost one this round and another didnt work str8 outta the box. I have one of the water heater timers you suggested with two 600's and a 1k on it now...prolly need to switch em all over before next run, good call. I dont understand how recessing my dehummer into the wall will work. The dry air output for the dehummer is on the side, how will it dry the room, or am I missing something? Thanks for the tips.

Also what is this Rep thing I hear everyone talking about and how does it work?

Great thread and grow. Thanks for sharing it with us.The fact that it is your first grow is incredible too.Enjoy the fruits of your labor.Plz include some smoke reports on the two NL phenos. When were they made by Sensi do you know? Thx..awesome job ..BL

There is not a date on the box, but I bought them a lil over a year ago in amsterdam at sensi seed bank. Out of the two phenos I saw, one has purple sugar leaves and the other has purple calayxes . The one with purple leaves has bigger and more trichomes. Looks like it has raindrops on it. Ill give a smoke report after the cure. Thanks for looking.

Just found out thats not the Arcata wreck. Its arcata wreck x ?? unknown something herm'd and cross'd with it. I got a clone from the seed that popped. Could be wreck times bb or cheese or strawBcough. I dunno what it is but its leafy and big with a medium amount of trichs nothing special I dont think, at least not yet....

Yeah I like to wet trim and dry on the stem on drying racks, easier to handle but I do like those new hanging screens with 5 round shelves or whatever, my local shop has em for like $23 each, not bad! Some of those plus a handytrimmer = win, and cheap compared to the big critters...

Can you link me to a pic of the handy trimmer? Hanging screens?

sugarberry, and its about 4 elbows on it in that picture, but as the buds become more and more dry you can push them closer together and even combine almost dry racks to make room for more weed as you trim it. I don't see why you couldn't fit 8 lb's on it if you trimmed over the period of a week

They make enclosed ones so you can just flip the whole thing over now too, good stuff. Uh handytrimmer, yeah here it is: http://www.handytrimmer.com/

I've seen em online for around $600, good videos on youtube, a buddy has one and loves it, does an ounce in about 1 minute!

Unfortunately we wont get to see her live up to her fullest potential. She is on a table with 8 week strains, and they are all getting flushed now. I can see she has potential to be a great yield er, wish there was more frost but she doesnt even have a red hair yet. Im still uncertain as to her cross, lots of leaf...

Yes indeed its my first grow. I havent discussed all the problems Ive had thus far..

First Im being haunted by PM that I cleared up with a sulphur burner back in week 2 of flowering. Its back and popping up here and there. Second Im dealing with random nanners here and there either due to light leaks or too mucn ferts who knows what it is. One of my NL plants had around a 100 seeds or more. Luckily shes the only one so far to be heavy with seeds, she also had two sets of hidden nanners hanging from the bottom of some buds. So things may look good but certainly not perfect. Ive still got my training wheels on. If you look closely youll see some burnt tips here and there too. Ive been learning to feed the plants properly and recognize defs etc so they look rough to me. Anyhow here are some of my plants Im most unhappy with. Its Big buddha cheese and IMO the strain blows. Maybe cause Im running them next to some of cali's best strains but I think shes a beaster maker. Not many trichs and shes leafy as fuck. I wont be growing this strain again. She has the yield potential but needs more trichs if you ask me. The UK cheese clone is heady, but not this BBCheese. Sorely disappointed, sucks I have a whole 4x6 table and 11 plants of them 2 maybe 3 phenos.. looks like I may get about 3 elbows of them all together. anyhow heres the Big Beaster Cheese

Heres my beaster bush of BBcheese

Maybe its cause Im a noob and it requires something special, but there is only one pheno even worth a hoot in the this pack of 11 seeds I got, and it isnt all that. I dont understand how this strain could have won the cup ever. Maybe they should go ten weeks? There are still alot of white pistils so she must be early, not an amber trich in sight.
I cant wait any longer, Im flushing this week and everything is coming down around day 60. If you didnt notice in my pics there is no carbon filter:yoinks:
I have one but cant afford the 12 inch fan for it right now..lol so it stinks, ALOT! So Im kinda pushed to hurry up. Not only that but PM is popping up here and there and I dont want it to get out of hand cause Im not using a burner this late in the game and I dont like using serenade even though Im told its OK even this late. I use it but very sparingly... Will be back with some heady pics of the BD.

The Dream is a magnificent plant. Great yield and awesome trichome coverage. You can chop her at 6 weeks if you have to, and shes still great smoke. Ive been sampling buds since week 4 and its all been good stuff. Wonderful smiling high, a house cleaning upper. Shes fairly mold resistant too. All other strains in the room have PM popping up and she has a very limited amount of spots comparatively. I cant say enough good things about the BD, if you can get your hands on some cuts I suggest you do so... Here she is>.
