Every time I see that media whore Marks picture, it puts me off, fuckin twat I dont believe anything that comes from the area of his er mouth. If it is true then I hold him personally responsible for soap bar. We used to get good hash before he came along. What next marks, a range of cosmetics? male grooming products. Oh yea, stand for mp somewhere. Who'ja work for.really.
I heard Hemcore went bust, such a shame, used to make dashboards for BMW I think. Marks would know he's probably got a few. sorry for rant.
Its nice to hear of anything that increases public awareness of the plant, so many positives, good luck.

Just drawing my own conclusions, but didnt mean to sidetrack thread ......so sorry.
It wouldbe nice to see some of the industrial uses shown at hempexpo, such as insulation boarding cloth fibre horse bedding, instead of bong vape lighting drug stuff. Maybe it does, I havent been, sure hope so.

Well fingaz you should keep your conclusions to your self before you slag off folks .I think you will find that when kak ie soap bar first came was about while howard was infact in a usa jail.
It has nothing what so ever to do with him never has.Ps hemp expo is a great day out though telford was abit toss.

I've never been to a "formal" or "official" hemp/cannabis thing..... and I wonder if its geared to ordinary folks (tokers that is), or mainly towards people "in the industry" kind of thing.....?
Anybody help with this?
Dont know if many have seen the (relatively) new police guidelines {Practice Advice on Tackling Commercial Cannabis Cultivation and Head Shops}?
Would appear to me that they are going to get a bit serious.... the old perennial of "conspiracy to ......" appears to be raising its head again.... and, as the police seem to think one plant is capable of delivering unlimited riches.... I do wonder if things are going to start getting difficult again: never been any let up in Scotland.... still bust you for a roach, and no such thing as warnings, or stepped processes......
So, I was just wondering if the event will get any hassle really.....

Very true, Howard was indeed in the US under lock and key. Howard did one or two shady bad karma things but he had nothing to do with soap bar.

Yeah, hardly very enlightened....... each time England and Wales gets new guidance re busts, such as the last re-reclassification nonsense, all Scotland gets is the increased sentencing.... any, and I mean any, trace and you will get reported to the PF, which is the same as the CPS more or less..... it makes such a complete farce of new legislation such as the warnings and stepped process - we dont get any of it other than increased sentencing.
Past events have been split 50/50 ,, half industry based stands,,, the other half medi. / recreational / magazine based stands. While the people in attendance come from a wide variety of rural and cosmopolitan backgrounds.
Btw,, fingaers,, soapbar had already reached epidemic levels in the UK before they let Howard Marks out of jail. May be do your homework before badmouthing folk for the wrong reasons next time!
