Would this stress out my plant?

Hello everyone,
I have a question about my plant I am not sure if this is the correct forum or not so mods please feel free to move it.
Anyway I am currently on day # 25 of flowering I have 6 large budsites on the top of my plant and about 4 tiny ones ont the lower part of my plant that does not receive much light. My question is would it be ok to snip off the lower branches to allow the plant to focus its energy on the larger budsites, or is it to to late to do so, or would it cause my plant to much stress and result in a posible herm?

Thanks everybody!

I personally think you'd be fine. Thats what I do. I wouldn't want to strip too much off at one time but 4 "tiny" bud sites doesn't sound like what I would call too much.

Thanks for the help everyone. My next question is do i cut the branch as close to the stem as possible? Sorry for the dumb questions I just want to make sure i do this correctly.

I smoked my lower branches for the past few days, lol. I think I did it right about then and my plants didn't mind :)

Oh really! I did not know I would be able to smoke those little buds! I did not think they had any THC yet? Well this changes everything, LOL I will def not throws the branches out then, Great news!

They have a little. Dry them slowly. I put them in a wooden drawer and they aren't super strong but they do the trick. Some people prefer making oil, butter or hash with them (these are the popcorn buds that staci was talking about using to make oil).

Some folks plan their whole grow this way. They call it lollipop.

Some leave them on and harvest in waves. First the tops, a few weeks later, the bottoms.

Whichever way amuses you is the way to go.

.... add ....

Gotta learn to type faster. Lower popcorn growth is very useful in keeping your hands off the real thing. I do DWC and under screen growth is a gigantic no-no. I leave just a few for just this purpose. Let's me have a taste along the way.

"Lower popcorn growth is very useful in keeping your hands off the real thing." Ain't that the truth!

Genetics play a big part. Some plants make nice, big resiny buds down low in the dark. Others don't and probably should be 'lollypopped' as FB 'splains it.
