ozone vs scrubber

scrubber is only thing that cleans air... ozone just mask smells... and usually not very well.... carbon is the only way to go...

thanks poopy,i have a scrubber with a 5 inch axial fan on the end of it but its not doing the job its probably better suited for a closet or tent

make your scrubber out of a 5 gallon bucket and a small blower fan. screw the lid of the bucket to the underside of a shelf, mount the fan on top (with a hole between of course) and put a few inches of carbon in the bucket with lots of holes drilled in the bottom with screening to hold the carbon in. then u can just snap the bucket up into the lid and plug it in. i like a layer of perlite in first on the screen, then the carbon, then some lava-type rocks on top. this makes a 6" layer of stuff in the bucket. the small blower will move and clean alot of air.

Absolutely 200% WRONG. Ozone destroys the smell. You end up with pure oxygen.

Best thing would be to have both, carbon scrubber and ozone on the exhaust. Carbon scrubbers are the 1 grow thing you don't want to skimp on.... not saying you can't build your own.
