i miss playing football this time of year - camp was always fun.
the smell of the fresh cut grass. the chalk lines.
the smell of fresh footballs.
the sound of the whistle blowing. the grunting and yelling.
beating up the squids holding the bags.
mostly though, i miss hitting people.
nothing like the feeling you get crawling off of some poor dude who didn't see you coming so you lovingly earholed him into the turf, and you notice the big ole snot bubbles sticking out of his nostrils. thats the shit. thats when you know you own that sorry sob.

Greyskull I also miss the joy of playing football but i was the guy on the other side of the ball, the one getting hit. Not only do i miss getting wacked around and taking a good hit; what i miss the most is running that linebacker over who thinks he can stuff me from the endzone or putting a juke of someone so bad they just stand their and watch u run by.

watched some good pre season games today.. It is time baybee. I am a die hard raider.. Yea i know they have sucked for a long long time, If the 137 yr old Al Davis would just croak or a grizzly or maybe a shark knocked on his door and tore him to shreds that would be cool..

Hello IC'ers And fans Only! of Pro Football.. It is that time when we all can chill at home on sundays, With our families and friends to watch our favorite teams of the gridiron Play against each other.. So Lets hear it who is your favorite team? And How do you think they will finish? and with what record will they end the season with also do you think they will make the playoffs or EVEN GO ALL THE WAAAAY! said like Chris Berman... This is an open forum for FOOTBALL only, and PLEASE no arguing, flaming or trolling will be tolerated!!!!. Also no need for bashing other ic'ers teams even if there is a rivalry between the two or three etc... There is no need to be rude or mean.. Its allbout fun.. Of course WINNING yea..??
So let it begin.. So my team is the Oakland Raiders. We have SUCKED for quite along time now.. I am hoping this year we can come together to win more than 5 friggn games. We finished 5-11 last yr for 3rd in the divison, and only sent two players to the pro bowl.. wow.. lol.. We did'nt draft anyone special. Couple of decent defensive ends. And a WR we didnt need.. Anyhow we will see how it all turns out real soon. Let splay some football.. If ya want to post pics or logos go for it..
Raiders first 3 games are against all divison rivals..
game 1 vs chargers @ oakland
game 2 vs chiefs @ KC
game 3 vs Broncos @ oakland
tuff tuff tuff games.. Hope to come out at least 1-2
