What do u use for the trichoms checking befor to harvest?

Hey everyone...

I was wondering what was the diferent way to check the trich' befor harvesting?
I've seen this usb digital microscope that shot video and tek picture, i watched a review and it seemed to work pretty good.
here is the pics

i guess it must be pretty hard to do eye checking on trich'...Lets share the techniques...

Hello Lambs Bread. I like that gadget, how much $ though. We just use a jewellers looking glass magnifier. You can get different strengths, I think we got the 22x so you definetly see those trichs. I seen a post a few months back on how someone went to a toy store and found some kind of electric magnifying toy for kids that was very similar to your pic, just cheaper looking and probably not as good. But the post said it was the best thing he'd ever tried and was around $15-$20au. There were pics in the post, and it was very clear.

yeah radioshack or walmart will have a little magnifying glass or microscope for cheap.

Damn thats cheap indeed, the one i showed is around 80/100 box but from the review the quality was amazing 1.3 Mega Pixel, 200X, 1280x1024 the image resolution is pretty huge and u can plug it on a big screen via the usb! It take videos and picture too...

I'd like to see the post u talking about might be a better solution to take some kids toy, away cheaper....

yep seems a lot of fun to use the usb MCS. The review i seen show how close u can get it was pretty amazing the quality was very nice i could imagine checking trich' with this must be some fun

Prices on the BioniCam trampoline up and down. Under $30, I recommend it heartily. $40 and up ... I don't know. At MSRP of $80, no way.

As I mention in the linked thread, I DESPISE everything about it in use. Turned off, with pics on my computer, I love it with a passion. How could anyone not love shots like this for $27?

I haven't used it yet as my lights turned off as I came home today.
It says it magnifies at 60-100 x
It would be real sweet to be able to take picture though ;>}

I use a binoculars backwards.

Then if it passes the binoculars test then I trim a small bud and give it a more through exam under a 100X microscope.

I have one of those too.. I find it VERY difficult to use to look at a plant.. you have to cut a bit off and put it down on a desk..clearly it is possible to see trichs and I do use the thing,, but I dont like.. I dont think using with a camera is feasible.. but...
