I did not read every post in this thread just skimmed through it...Here's is what I would do.
A: Buy a nanny cam and hide it then leave some short cash laying in plain view.Then "if" they return you have them on film.Tell absolutely nobody not even your kid about the cam that way if it is someone you know they arent tipped off that they are being filmed.
B: Couple large guard dogs.
C: Keep the place locked up better than Fort Knox..Make it as hard on them as possible.
D: Get a gun for your own protection should they return while you are home.
E: Add security lights outside your home on motion detectors.
F: Throw some timers on random lights inside your home to give the effect that someone is there even if you aren't.
G: PreDig a couple six foot deep holes in the back yard for when you catch the idiot who robbed you.

Okay first off, let me explain, i live on a million dollar property, because its my "MOTHERS".. The person who was kind enough to let me recover from a horrible motorcycle accident.. so i own NOTHING! second, I built the second house because my ex-wife was going to take my daughter to another state, and i would prolly not see her again.. So... My very kind mother took out a load, based on the fact i could repay her in the near future.. Just so that I could have a home for my child.. We are not rich.. its not our fault the land value went up over the 36 fucking years our family has owned it! so back the fuck off Mrbomdiggitty.. shit! And 4k is alot of fucking money when you dont have a 9-5 job to fall back on.. I took on the responsibility of raising my kid and taking care of some sick people. 2 of 6 are dead and so i feel a little responsible for the rest. And the ill comments towards my daughter are for your own entertainment. your the only one laughing.. and to highjack someone elses thread to get your lame giggles on is pathetic. After the current downfall of the economy everyone here is hurting, and is tapped out.. no more credit, no more cushion money.. If anything it shows me how fragile our society is. I just came online to say i got to burn some herb and my nerves where calmed for a good while,, but after reading mrbomdiggitty's comments, has ruined it..

there is a very big chance they would hit your house again ... knowing that you grow weed so if you decide to do that then sort out a good alarm system and some pitbulls and a shotgun.
whoever did it must be a neighbour or something to have the balls to do it with you being on the property ..
I hope you have insurance and called the police ?
your property will end up at the pawn shop or similar so a good idea is to get phone book and find all your local pawn shops and call them and ask them if any of your missing items have been pawned ... this is what the police do so you should give that a go ..
people who pump ( thieve ) houses are junkies and once the cash runs out its off to the pawn shop with your goods ..

Loong ago and far away - I got robbed - fuckers got some guns and Camera - no drugs or money - went to the local animal shelter and brought home the sweetest doberman - I've gotten some incredible dogs from the pound - never been broken into again - and sleep warm in the winter lol
Be warned sometimes pound and rescue dogs have issues - but with your time etc. if you like critters - it will cure the problem and you can sleep better.
I still have a Doberman - nobody wants to come in here without me around. Come to think of it,,,,, never mind lol.
Sounds like you could use trustworthy company - they need a meal ticket (win-win) and pretty soon they will tell you if a stranger (or a kitty) is around.
If you get hit again - it wasn't a stranger.
And a dog isn't 100% - if they really want in - they can kill the dog - but in 99.9999% - they will go where there isn't a dog

There's a lot of people in this thread talking and talking...that's what I see. Mr. Bomdiggity...if you think everyone that has had this happen has done something to deserve it, you're not up with things then. Karma is out there, but if you think it takes care of this world with 100% justice, you're insane. I know a lot of the people chiming in are giving advice based on what they would do...well, some of you don't know what you would do until your faced with it. I've been through this enough times to know that relying on "karma" is stupid, staying in your house no matter how innocent you are is a bad idea, killing a robber is a bad idea. It's so easy for everyone to speculate, but in the end you don't even know because you haven't been there. This is one thread that the IC turds should just stay away from. This is serious, not a topic for a bunch of kids and naive douches to chime in on....that doesn't help this man at all. Ego does nothing for someone in this man's position....what you're capable of and all you want to spew out of anger will get you nowhere....but you've had to be there to know that. Well Whodi...your house gets hit once, whether someone set you up or it's random, you're marked after that. Then, the person that hit ya....they tell a bunch of other people. Or, your boys aren't the people you think they are....there's a million reasons. But, the reason it happened more than once was someone's unwillingness to leave his house. You can set up ADT, you can set up cameras....it's all been done, but since what's going on isn't legal, what is it worth? Where it annoys me about people not being realistic about this shit is that unless you are willing to kill someone and spend your life in prison, you aren't gonna do it, so again....there you are. It wasn't my grow that has been hit, it was my house....and that's just from a couple bitches coming in here...getting a pound or whatever, now....hey, this house is a gold mine to worthless %!&&$@'s that can't do shit for themselves. We got marked because we stayed here after a break in....it gets worse if you are stupid enough to stay. People are stupid enough to underestimate how little a thief will break in for. Nothing in my house has been taken but tirvial amounts (to me) of weed and when they couldn't get that, they went for whatever was valuable. When they come for ya with guns....good luck kids. Now that said. . I grew one more round and moved.
Nothing more happened.
Here's why: it's one thing to go in an open window and steal items. It's a whole other to hold a gun in someones face. One is a property crime, and the other is a violent crime. Some piss ant crawling in your room is not the same mental level as being willing to dominate someone in person and jack them.
Now they might tell someone else- so . . you know. . in the end, your now exposed to some shitty people.
Even then it has to be well timed, they have to hit you when its ripe. And they probably don't know when that is.
During the time your harvesting, see if you can borrow a couple big dogs to keep on your property. Invite 4 or 5 friends to come stay with you for a couple weeks- just as house guests. It will make walking up unannounced all but impossible, and force them to deal with the dogs and extra people too.
If they are going to come for you, they are going to come, and short of fleeing there is not much you can do to stop it. So instead, sit tight, try to relax, and make yourself an unappealing target. Don't play the victim role. Make it a lot of work for them to jack you. Send you family to a friends house or out of town when your nearing ripening- it will give you peice of mind and not allow them to be used to get at you. when you do harvest, GET IT OUT OF YOUR HOUSE ASAP! Don't dry it there, don't trim it there, nothing. If they come, show em your shut down shit. Can't steal from man who has nothing.

I would say, talk to the children and find out who they might have befriended recently.
My thought is a new friend may have gotten the info on your activities and taken advantage of that info.

Years ago I had a breakin 2 weeks before harvest. They took my plants at 6 1/2 weeks. I was ballistic for a while. That was only the beginning though. I lost track of how many times they broke in over the following year. I moved and it stopped. Since then I've been lucky.
rule#1 tell no one, im sure its been said but its still true and this whole situation could have been avoided,and people who get robbed wont come here scratching there heads woundering who it could have been. if you wave gold in somones face there going to reach for it,i dont care who it is.you were better off keeping to yourself and not being a "dealer".
