Woodworking and smoking accessories

Hey guys, I just got a random idea while thinkin about a project and figured this would be a perfect place to get all kinds of crazy, yet useful ideas.

I have a mini woodworking garage and LOVE turning wood on a lathe. Creating something unique/special from a 'blank' just feels good.

Anyways. I was wondering what tools/accessories/whatever for smoking you think would be neat to have turned on a lathe or made out of wood?

thats just a google image search of "wood lathe" so you know what I'm talking about. Its basically what makes legs for chairs/tables, baseball bats, anything wooden with a perfect center practically.

there are some BEAUTIFUL grains of wood that I think would look amazing if utilized next to a super clean GonG or just as a stash box to hold some J's, anything really!

lets hear it, I'll post the pix of finished products, got a couple already I'm sure you guys would like

our wish list:

a "dug out" or one hitter holder, whatever ya call em (oh....idea for another poll comin) but a dug out of birdseye maple.

another stash type box, with sliding cover like the dug out, but bigger to hold personal stash for the day, I hate putting my shit in a bag, doesnt feel right.

wood pipes suck.

always nice to have a cleaning tray for good stash, we have several, most of them wood bowls.

we got more if you need them...

i got a very nice woodenone hitter box, has 3 types of stones inlayed on it, maybe a pic comin.

also, got a friend that makes wooden pipes, they are very cool, they fold in half to make a cover for itself and fold into a little box. makes a very small one also, like a one hitter for carp weed, like a five hitter for ours, just the right amount.

if you're just getting into wood and you have room you can get urself a lathe and make a bench that clamps the piece ur wookring on by the weight of your feat. I've made baseball bats, but htey sucked. Good beating sticks i guess. Table legs sure, there u go

wouldn't use a lathe.......but
-bong bowl/joint holder
either just one straight piece with a few vertical holes or maybe something creative like a spiral or a circular piece, or just something made from a thin slice of a smallish tree trunk and sanded>polished>waxed really smooth.

-rolling trays

-cool stash boxes

-massive wooden steamroller............disguised as a baseball bat with cork
