i have a friend lokkin to grow and was wanting to know a soil mix to start him/her out with. preferably something that i can get all the mixers at a local garden store. any ideas???
I have a total of 5 plants now, started with 7, down to 5.
-Males
-1 Grape Skunk
-Females
-3 Grape Skunks
-1 Sweet Tooth or Sour Diesel (lost track of what was what)
Growers log:
Just about every day i need to water them, The space i have gets warm despite the crazy fan i have sucking the air out. The tops of the females are looking like buds now. It took a while! Now the fun begins!
Pictures! <-This is my sole male plant. Moved outside to avoid unwanted reproduction...
The 4 Ladies... Grapes are in the center and left... On far right thats the either SourD or Sweet Tooth
Glorious!
More pics coming soon
And those of my clones... muwahhaa
looking mighty healthy good sir. Told you that superthrive was the bomb. If you want to step it up even more get some hygrozyme... that shit is insane.
If you had to guess, how many days of 12/12 did you have before you considered it Day 1 of flower?
Early week 3 Flowering -Day of 16 Flowering- (week 10) I looked at my calendar, was a little too ahead of myself with days n stuff Light first turning on Light On!
Current Tools:
All Fertalizers are used strictly on the Fox Farms Feeding Schedule found on their website... its a pdf you download for soil growing.
Soil:
-Fox Farms Ocean Forest
Fertilizers:
-Fox Farms Big Bloom
-Fox Farms Tiger Bloom
-Fox Farms Grow Big
-Fox Farms Cha Ching
-Alaskan Fish Emulsion (only used once in flowering to get rid of the extreme nitrogen deficiency (especially on the far right Grape Skunk aka big momma))
-Hydrozyme
-Superthrive
Water:
Distilled (for ferts)
Well Water (for flush only)
Sharingan everything looks dank man. are you just feeding them fox farm ferts/soil or are you using other things as well? Can't wait to see these all finished up! Peace man.
Just added Alaskan Fish Emulsion to relieve the extreme nitrogen deficiency. All the big leaves turned yellow on the far right plant (the mother Grape Skunk) So i added 1TBSP to a gallon of spring water and divided it up amongst the ladies. I feel like the fox farms nutrients have practically to no nitrogen content in them. And it seems like it would like some. I need to get a better camera to take real good shots of these... Theyre smelling sooo much... its incredible. Still i cant believe that im in week 4. Technically for Grape Skunks a plant takes about 55 days to finish in flower... so, i have little more than 3 weeks to go. I cant wait to see the outcome. The buds are getting thicker and thicker each day. The plants stopped growing taller about 2 weeks ago, and have been at a steady height. Simply glorious...
did you mix your ocean forest soil with anything? I am about to start using that stuff and was thinking about mixing in something for better drainage, but not sure if necessary.
i just used ocean forest soil.. I started the seeds in peet moss expandable net holder things. Otherwise, thats is... so far its working fine for me. I keep on hearing the best mixture is 55% Fox Farm Ocean Forest, 35% perlite, 10% vermiculite.

The Following Pictures are Shown From Left to Right
SWEET TOOTH!
GRAPE SKUNKS (one in front and one in back)
GRAPE SKUNK (the tall one)
So today is Day 44 of Flowering (week 6) (week 13 total) Technically Grape Skunk takes about 45 to 50 days to mature in a perfect environment. So im coming down to the end. The plants hairs are about 50percent red, some white at the tips. The Sweet Tooth has a longer indoor maturation which is approximately 50 to 55 days. I am searching for a microscope so i can check the trichromes! gotta find one soon!
