Please comment.

not 1 hit in my search, so here it is:

Bio Terra Plus is not just another organic soil, it is the ultimate mix for the discerning grower. Composed of different grades of peat, bark, and coco coir, the use of perlite is no longer necessary to obtain oxygen-rich, well drained potting mix. This mix is essential in the control of root borne pathogens as well as ensuring a strong healthy plant, capable of revisiting both pests and pathogens. Canna selects on the best, 100% organic components for Bio Terra Plus. This means you can use it for both mineral and all natural growing, without the risk of unhealthy contaminants.

Bio Terra Plus is specially designed and formulated with Canna's Terra Vega and Terra Flores, as well as BioCanna nutrients. Start by using Vega and switch to Flores when the first signs of flowering appear after changing the length of day. When Bio Terra Plus is used with these nutrients, both new and experienced growers will continue to achieve optimum results. Bio Terra Plus, pH balanced and adjusted, provides the optimum base for achieving professional results.

With Bio Terra Plus, the EC and pH value do not need to be measured, as you should when using a mineral medium. Organic medium and nutrients are not made of mineral salts but organically bound elements, which are not measurable. The medium has a natural pH, this will keep the soil in balance by itself.

I use it when I use "bag soil". I love it over FFOF.

I really only use it because I hate seeing perlite.

it's ok stuff, I suggest if using strains like BB or GK or a sativa use it straight, and if your growing a heavy feeder add in some stuff before use, also they say they use lime..

Also I found while cooking it a while back, they use dry molasses I swear! there was some sticky stuff stuff to my pan, and the soil smelled sweet like molasses, if it's not molasses there using something very similar to molasses.... .........................

Canna makes some of the best nutrient lines out there. I personally haven't tried it, but the fact that they pre-charge their coco and tell you not to use perlite means their nutrient lines are solid without tweaking.

yah habeeb i'm not fond of the perlite look either.
I got a bag but have not used it 'straight' out of bag.
I mixed it with some Roots Organics soil and 50% recycled soil.
It's around $22. bag in Rhode Island.

Why were you cooking it in a pan??

^ hey try my state, no canna soil here, I have to ship it and shipping cost is no fun..

I was cooking it as I once blended it with some other soil that was "infected" . so I was cooking it to try and kill the bad things F'ing up my seeds

good luck with it. It is very airy and I think it will suit you not having to look at perlite if that's not your thing..

I bought 7 of the 50L bags and have also had problems finding people that use this stuff.
From what I've read I think if you transplant into it water it for a week to get the added nutes out of the medium then start feeding it your nutrients again.

It can have fungus gnat larvae in it since it's loaded
with different peats; so hit with BT as
protection from those nastyzzz

i am using the canna bio line now. your plants will need nitrogen within a week. i'll hold off on giving a value judgment yet though.

I just used the Canna Bio Terra Plus in a 2 gal Smartpot
and one thing I noticed is that it drains well even without
the perlite and it's not overly heavy when wet-up.
I'll use straight water to start.
That perlite crunches when you step on it so
this should quiet things down some.
EDIT: I picked it up again & it's a lot heavier than my
other mixes with perlite, so I'll water less with this mix.

I've been using this stuff for 3 grows now. Really like it. I use Botonicare nuts thought with rizo and cannazyme. Did have a bad Fungas gnat problem last grow. Will add diatomacious earth this time ( brand name Concern) and BT.

yah those are nasty (not like the people) Dutch gnats;
they love that rich peat & bark.

Spray the bag inside if you save some of the bag.
I sprayed neem oil to disrupt their reproduction
in the bag after I opened it. seemed to work.

I noticed the Bioterra plus lightens up pretty good once it gets some root growth going.
I'm in smartpot cloth bags. I'll top dress with wormcast to see if I can fill the
spaces a little & get some more compost/nutrients into the Bioterra mix.
