weird facts about the pyramids in Cairo

H

h^2 O

the pyramid of Kufu - if you take the height, and multiply by ten thousand million, you get 9.4 trillion which is the distance to the Sun or one light year (au). If you divide the base of the pyramid by it's height you get Pi.

Or something like that.

very interesting stuff, i've read something somewhere where they were applying pi to measurements of leaves, height width etc, and was working, pretty weird actually.

That's phi not pi and it's pronounced "fee" it's all over nature and I believe it has something to do with the fibonacci (sp?) sequence and the golden spiral both of which were used in the plotting of the placements of the great pyramids as well :chin:

The distance to the sun is 93 million miles. Its not even close to one light year in distance.

One light year is how far lights travels in one year....light travels at a speed of 182,000 miles per second...multiply that by the number of seconds in one year (60 sec x 60 min x 24 hrs x 365 days x 182,000 mps)...so, light travels about 5,739,552,000,000 miles in one year.

Thats 5.7 trillion.

Entrances to tombs after the mastaba variety were located in spots triangulated by the stars.
I am trying to avoid this thread 'cause all things Egypt are my passion.

They called the pharoah- Nesut

the layout of the pyramids in the previous picture is an almost exact 1 for 1 of the stars in orions belt (constellation).
