That's phi not pi and it's pronounced "fee" it's all over nature and I believe it has something to do with the fibonacci (sp?) sequence and the golden spiral both of which were used in the plotting of the placements of the great pyramids as well

One light year is how far lights travels in one year....light travels at a speed of 182,000 miles per second...multiply that by the number of seconds in one year (60 sec x 60 min x 24 hrs x 365 days x 182,000 mps)...so, light travels about 5,739,552,000,000 miles in one year.

Thats 5.7 trillion.
