Well depending on the pheno yes they can be rather dense. The grape pheno which im gonna try and snap some pics tonight are not so dense but rather airy. The pics I posted are from the heaviest pheno yet and a very very good yielder, about 4oz in a 3gal bucket. Me personally I hate very dense buds, im more of the middle man kinda guy not to dense and not to airy.

the way it grow you wouldnt think that it will produce airy buds... thanks for the info on the grape pheno... peace

I have a clone of the Ice Cream strain.
I didn´t grow it yet, cause I got this clone a few weeks ago.
Since I decided to give a break since my last harvest, I haven´t grow her.
You could tell me some tips about her.
I know that you have a lot of phenos.
How many days did you let them blooming?
Do you have any shots of the plants?
Or another thread showing your grow run?

I cant take credit for growing these and for security reasons they prefer to not post grows shots, but i might be able to get a few. For the most part they all stayed short and stout. They were vegged for about 3-4 weeks and not much stretch at all, and chopped at 63-65 days. I will say if you LST them depending on the pheno it will help a lot. The ice cream is a very very easy strain to grow and has so much vigor.
Well lets see out of 10 plants 8 of them yielded between 1.75-2.5oz, only 2 out of the 10 were monsters the white pheno as we call it the 1st pics posted got a hair under 4oz the grape pheno got about 5oz so there is a big difference. All were grown under 600watt with light rails, vegged for 3-4 weeks in coco with GH nutes and a PH of 6.3-6.4, some of the plants were LST and some not. I have noticed in coco using RO water did make a huge difference in the size of the buds compared to other harvests using tap water.

Grape Pheno, a little busy today but will get a smoke report this weekend. I havent really got to smoke the this pheno but once and to be honest I like the white pheno better so far. Also have some Hashberry pics which i will upload when i write the report, and a batch of DNA cannalope haze is ready as well some DSD. I cant keep up with all this and I hate typing with a passion.

A friend of mine grew Ice Cream, and I can say its one of the most exotic strains I've found, and I've tried a decent amount of strains. The potency is not lacking at all, I mean its no Headband Diesel or SSSDH , but its very strong, especially certain pheno's. There is something amazing and very appealing about the high that many other strains miss. It makes you feel internally balanced, in a way I have rarely felt. You feel very Zen like, as if you are going through-out the day in a state of focused and functional meditation. I've rarely had strains make me feel so centered in every-way. I call it Zen Buddah cannabis.
The taste is absolutely amazing. Many of the pheno's have a vanilla/strawberry smell and taste that is followed by that oh so amazing pine/Christmas tree taste. It is so good that I sometimes find myself picking it up to smoke for the taste over even the taste of OG Kush, although they are both great in their own respects. Paradise's Ice Cream really hold its own all around. It is one of those strains that provides a type of high not many other strains have tapped into, and if I ever lost the ability to acquire it, it would feel like a big loss even if I could get other great strains.
I highly recommend people give Ice Cream a try, you very likely may never want to let go of it.

I enjoyed your review of Paradise Seed's Ice Cream and just had a few questions for you. First of all, do you know if IC stretches once put into the 12/12 flowering stage? If for example I flowered a clone when it was 12" tall, how tall do you think it would be at harvest? After growing this strain, would you grow it again? Was it overall a pleasant strain to grow?
