best price $$$$$on a 600 watt system is FREEDOMM.....drive to get U'r gear.......MUCH safer........i go over 100 miles each way just to shop.......
MUCH safer...more discreet and priceless................

I also drive nearly 100 miles to a very expensive hydro shop and we pay cash.
I wouldn't skimp on your lighting. Go for the best, meaning a lumatek digital switchable ballast and the hortilux bulbs. No real preference on reflectors...

Usually you can find a Lumatek 600 on Ebay for around $175, a
Eye Hortilux bulb for under $90, and a decent air cooled reflector for about $100.

If someone knows of the same setup cheaper let me know.

I picked up the cap next-gen 600/400watt digital ballast. I dig it so far.. I like having 400/600watt mh/hps lighting option. Works out well if you use the same space for veg n flower

HTGsupply is a solid company with great customer service, I've heard really good things about HidHut but have'nt had time to check them out yet. I'm also looking to maybe get some new equipment and wondering what the best 600w setup is. I keep hearing lumatek digital and the hortilux bulbs are the best but I'm not sure. I've seen other bulbs have slightly more lumens but is it the small blue spectrum that the hortilux bulbs emit? Just wondering. Thanks!

best deals around is craigslist/kjiji, there is a good # of people who use it once or twice then sell for 1/2 price...common to find 1000w/600w digital systems for 150$
