NEED QUICK HELP WITH BEST GERMINATION.

I have some beans that just cracked and barely have the tails out. I wanna put them in rockwool , A)should I put them in saucers with paper towels to get longer tails or B) leave them in the cup of water that they cranked in to grow longer tails? or C) Just put em in the rockwool?
I need to know ASAP because I don't wanna mess these babies up they are C99 bX1 and Kali Mist,Banana OG kush x Strawberry Kush, and Triesel, Blueberry.PLEASE HELP.......

Put them in LC's Mix.

get them into something. What will your medium be in the end? if it is lc's mix, do what burn says.

I'd get some neem into the plant via soil drench as soon as you can. I soil drench before sprouting and after 1st set of true leaves. seedling stage is critical, and you are starting in the busiest season for pests. and don't leave your wife in charge of them, even for a day.

next time, prepare your medium and containers before soaking the seed if you are going to soak it. I only soak 24 hours, then I go straight to a small pot.

seaweed has been shown to have germination benefits in low concentrations.

Simplicity Is Best


-take solo cup or something similar
-fill with soil
-water soil
-make hole for seed, not to deep at all
-pop seed in, and cover
-water where the seed is
-pop container in a humidity dome


but since you popped seeds the hard way, place them in the soil and wait for them to surface, be careful with the fragile root tip

Like Habeeb said, 16 oz cup is a good choice, fill it up to the top and water it thoroughly. Use a pencil or a something similar and make a small hole 1/4 to 1/2" deep and place it tip down. Be gentle!

looking at your post and actually reading it

you might be better off in the organic hydro section, as you stated wanting to use rockwool?

also if that's so, rapid rooters are a great tool

kush - I'm about 10 days into flowering on my first rockwool grow -

I put my germinated (cracked) seeds straight into R/W starter plugs. I am 40 for 40 - didn't loose any - till the males started to show up. Most everybody is happy healthey and growing like a weed
