I grow in SOG Cheese from HGF and she is very slow in the flowering comparing to the NYCD or AK47.
Is it normal from the Cheese or I have a poor pheno ?
A lot of people say that the Cheese is a big yielder...
I grew out 2 UK Cheese clones in my last run, which was also my 1st!
Compared to the other strains, Dabney Blue, White Russian, and Super Silver Haze, the Cheese flowered slower. It was kind of a sleeper in the mix, seemed lanky and wispy early, then it powered past the rest and kept swelling while I was harvesting the others as they ripened.
Some people have said that Cheese smells strong and rude, in my box towards the end of flowering, the Cheese did dominate. But, I thought the aroma was heavenly and the yeild surpassed most.
Unfortunatley, the Cheese came on so late I had already commited to other strains for the current run. I kept some Cheese in veg so believe me next run will be sporting substantial UK Cheese.
Of the 4 strains, UK Cheese is my second only to the SSH for quality of high, but tops for flavor.
The Cheese I grew was from a med cut I got while in Mendocino. The plants took a good 2 weeks to get flowering, but once they did, they didin't stop swelling and stretching in flower, and went 70 days with white hairs still present.. Like those people with too much growth hormones in their bodies, this thing had to be trained along the walls it wouldn't stop growing through flower.. The Cheese buds were the biggest and strongest in that garden for sure, actually the Cheese I grew was some of the strongest most psychedelic herb I've grown easily..Very grassy, fruity flavor and the high is energetic and inspirational, almost hallucinogenic definitely not couchlock..
