Which Cannabis print mag should I subscribe to?

I'm more interested in stories, actual pieces of journalism. Dont really need a mag with grow guide tips, as Ive already done runs.

I have every issue of high times printed in the last 21 years. don't subscribe to high times!
I have every issue of skunk since it started. don't subscribe to skunk!
I have every issue of cannabis culture since it started. don't subscribe to CC!
I have most Weed World issues. DON"T subscribe to WW!
Treating yourself is ok i guess. I also have them all.
I would stick with ICMAG!
Before the internet I couldn't wait to get the new issues. but they have gone way way down hill. I buy them because I collect. Thats all. Icmag is here for me all day everyday. The mags ARE good for the bathroom though. I won't take my laptop in there! hahahaha

Yeah. Ive read alot of CC magazines, I know Marc has a bad reputation but he comes up with some good articles once in awhile. I do like Jorge Cervantes articles where he was in Mexico. That's the type of journalism I'm looking for.

Weed tips and grow guides are all over the 'net. Dont see a need for High Times, et al. Unless its the Miss High Times issues

Whats up with all this shit talk about Marc Emery? The only thing bad about him i can think of is I ordered from emery seeds years ago and I don't thing the strain I got was the right one. Must of been some kind of mistake, turned out pretty good but it was no way the strain I ordered.

Also if you subscribe to a cannabis magazine do they mail it to you in a secret envelope? I would hate for my mailman to see HIGH TIMES and a giant picture of weed. I've always just bought it from book stores.

Cannabis Culture is the magazine I go to, and I've read many of them (I have not read ICmag unfortunately, so I can't include that in my assessment...hopefully soon!). Unfortunately, it's now out of print and online only.

A respected breeder who has a helpdesk here once stated that Marc renamed and made up names for strains that did not exist. He renamed things "fruity" so that they would sell better.

Im not going to name names because that'll just cause drama. You asked so I answered.

Cannabis Culture did that. I dont know if others do, I'll ask Treating Yourself. Gonna add a subscription soon, they don't sell it around my area.

The magazines did their part, the "pot" scene has simply matured. So I can see a new crew of journalists who produce decent pieces taking all of their clients.

Cannabis Culture ended their print editions. Treating Yourself has a lot of great articles and news regarding the activist and medical side. The articles are more in depth and the grow reports are also better.

Abbie is right! TY is the only in print cannabis magazine worth subscribing to! Go over to their site and take a look- they have the back issues up for you to read for free.

You should pick up and read a copy of TY. They are not your average weed mag; they are so much more. Good stuff.
