Pineapple C-99?

Ive also grown Cindy from the Bros, used it in a couple winner Hybrids, n had a nice grapefruit pheno I kept as clone for a few years also tried the GN 03 collection, and it was damn close.
Id say Subs looks like Cindy to me. looks like the Clone I kept that I passed to a good few card holders back when I was in CO.
as far as a pineapple pheno, I cant say Ive had one.. more along the lines of grapefruit.. but everyone describes things differently too....
Id say check to see if wallyduck has any release of C99, I know hes worked it for quite some time.

havent found a pineapple pheno yet but heres a pic of the rotten fruit pheno. only grown two seeds out so far. will be searching for the pineapple!

This is a common fast growing rotten fruit pheno that is all out sativa but finishes in 50 days
or less...

Moving on.. here are two of my three females (the last one has a bit more of thetruths 'indica' in her i think.. and needs a bit more ripening than these two, which were chopped at 49 days):

Now here is something interesting. My notes from veg/flower show #6 smelled heavy pineapple early on, but later turned to candy backed with light pineapple. Right now, as she hangs, she smells of mostly candy and a lighter tropical fruit mix.
For #1 my notes were ALWAYS 'lemon pledge..lemon pledge'... but now as she hangs she has eased away from the lemon and is much sweeter, I would really say she actually smells like pineapple now.
So I've had all my C99's change/evolve their scents.. is the 'pineapple' pheno strong pineapple in VEG smell, or late flower? 'Cause mine have changed quite a bit throughout their different stages.
Either way, all three females look and smell amazing and I can't wait to taste them. I kept '#6' as she was the fastest (ready day 42), biggest yielder, and tolerated extreme heat (many 90-100 degree days) and an accidental drought (forgot to water..derh) and she didn't even miss a beat. So she's perfect for me and the beatings I can give.. LOL.

The best C99 I ever had was a fruit-punch pheno. It had me wondering if I'd taken one hit too many - and it'd been about 10 years since a bowl had made me feel that way.

Anyone ever had a pheno that smelled like Juicy Fruit gum? I had a buddy bring over a popcorn-tester from his (from a seed I gifted him, it's Wally's last release) and it's freakishly ... JF-smelling. It's not done yet, though. It's real potent, not too racy (even so early) but very, very good.

That fruit punch might be the 'candy' in my #6. Best I can describe it is 'Flintstones Vitamins' .. but if you've never smelled those kids vitamins it also smells like Sweet Tarts or any other powdered, fruit flavored candy.
I cut a small straggler branch at day 38, hung dry it for ~4 days and smoked her.. 30 minutes in I was thinking "where is my f---ing face?" .. i felt like Skeletor.. like the skin on my face was no long there.. LOL. Can't wait until a couple months of curing!!
all 3 of my girls had some form of fruit or candy sweet smell... and I have 14 more seeds left (and feel like I got at least one real 'winner' so far)... happy happy joy joy.
When I say fruit-punch, I mean this one was specifically red, old-school, classic brand-name Hawaiian Punch. (I'm not sure if that exists outside the States.)
Sweet-tart/fruity candy sounds like it could be the same thing for sure.

For sure Sub is a solid bro. I can guarantee you the F4 C99 beans are legit as I know the history on all generations...direct from the horses mouth. I'm backing up two friends here...Sub and Rev.
What Sub describes as rotten fruit is how I first saw it but after thought would say more like over ripe tropical fruit with some pineapple in there. At least that was one of the selected phenos I smoked.
This line is a bit different than other C99's I have grown/smoked as it has been selected for certain traits. Finishes right about 55 days. I've seen some peeps post in the past if a C99 doesn't finish before 50 days it's not C99 and that's BS IME. One of the phenos I ran years ago finished in the very high 40 day area...didn't care too much for it though.

Well here are some shots of my C99's at day 50.....some smell like pineapple a few seem to have no smell at all but look un real just full of crystals and foxtails busing out everywhere. The one that smell the best and strongest is one that smells like grape gum or some may say grape Hawaiian punch, but it's very pungent. All look insane, these are the best pics my camera would take..........enjoy......there coming down at day 53.....

My C-99 is on it.s 7th week of flower. Scoped the trics and they look clear. I would like cloudy and no amber. Not sure why their not cloudy yet. Don't plan to go past 8 week of flowering. Still packing on the weight. Plan to flush next week and put in total dark for couple of days. That may help to ripen them up.
