Look at this Guy ---->

Think he can't Skate.. Fuck you(j/k). He's my new favorite Skater and is by far the most talented, original, stylish skater I've come across in the longest time... seriously This Aussie is so Bad Ass, from his style of clothing ( it works for him but wouldn't for anyone else), and his skating ability, it is just amazing. I can't even think of one pro skater to compare him to, maybe a combination of Rodney Mullen and Chris Haslam, but not really, You'll understand when you see him skate.

Check out some of his footage and be prepared to rewind to see if what you saw, was real. He does tricks most people, my self included, could not even conceive of, he is that original. Going down a 20 set with out even fucking ollie-ing... . .. wtf x100. Watching Richie Jackson skate really pumps me up to go skating. I can't express it well enough, this guy is amazing. Some people might not like him, others will absolutely love him, weird thing is, he got his fame and recognition through the internet.

By the way, does anyone else fingerboard when not skating ? The little thing is addictive, I fingerboard at work, school, when I go out, and every-where else, like the check counter when I am waiting to be rung up.

I someimes wonder what other people think of it, but I really don't care, and I don't think they do either, I can do some pretty fancy tricks on a fingerboard. Next time I am at the skate park and theres not to many people there, I am going to ride the bowl and try to fingboard alongside on the wall of the bowl as I am carving it.

Edit: This post is worthy of being my 100th post. :bis:

Got my first real skateboard on my 9th birthday

at that time, skateboarding really wasn't popular

i loved it, but i couldn't land tricks, my head wasn't yet grown, also learning wasn't easy I had one of my good friends who had one too, and we did it together but we we'rent very brave at that age, we were, but then we hurt ourselves

fast forward

started getting good (kickflip, ollie, 180, popshoveit, grinds, slides) , but not THAT good

i just loved skating, riding, hanging out with friends, good times,
different skate parks, skate movies, (that was when I was 13-14)

it's crazy what the pros are doing, smooth stuff
but of course there are the bails

ouch

that's why i let skateboarding go

I am getting into snowboarding instead

I have some fond memories tough

Funny, The song in the second link From the Skate Vid, "Better than Life" I posted is about being "to old"

"To old, to old is all you hear, to old, to old to be sincere, to old, to old for anything, to old, to old to be of any use. Time to think of the time when you grow old, time to think of the times you’ve be told, there’s nothing left for you to do the time is gone". it sounds better in the song. .

At 2:01 on the video, he does a casper stall wall plant/ride I belive it would be told.

Here I snowboard in the winter, and skate in the other seasons, to me, the two sports go hand in hand. I love them both. We don't have any indoor parks anymore since we recived a multi million dollar skatepark. Funny thing is, in the winter, theres a sign at the skateboard park that says no snowboarding. Skateboarding well/Consistent has alot to do with muscle memory.

Jamie Thomas part in "Welcome To Hell" (with Iron Maidens "Hollowed Be thy Name") got me pumped up back in the day. The fall section in that video is pretty....bad
Edit:

Back in the day, I never really got pumped up by any video in particular, just certain segments. If the song suck's in someone's part, I feel it just ruin's it. But watching any of Jamie THomas's parts always got my siked to go skate, plus he has good taste in music. At the end of "welcome to hell" he does the longest 50-50 grind I've ever seen ( has to be a world record), I counted 37 post's he past just grinding with complete ease, it lasted all through out the credits and was played with a Carlos Santana song, and the video photography was shot perfectly. Really classic.

I skated for years when I was younger, all through middle and high school. Never took it too seriously though, so I was decent.
Just picked it up again about 3 months ago, bought a new expedition complete with royals, rictas, and swiss bones :) sweet! Broke my arm may 19th at one of the skateparks here; (boardslide ended badly) but I cant wait to get back to it.

i started skating & snowboarding around the same time i started smokin weed. Over a decade ago. Dont plan on stopping any untill the day i die. or untill i get put into a weelchair and respirator

to me theres nothin better than gettin ripped and skatin the mini ramp all day. I dont mind street, but i really like trannys.

From the man himself for my 40th B-Day(my name covered obviously):"The Big Chief" graphic 2nd generation Z13 deck....skate art on a very functionable deck...Wes is a legend. I skate the same deck but 1st generation...along with the quads(12" griffin and 11" tailgunner)....many other BDS decks. I like big planks. The pig era was a pivotal time imo.

Thanks for the link man, checkin' it out right now.

Ever since Nike has entered the skate scene I've been a huge fan and they've had a rediculous team since day one.

Anyone keeping track of BATB 2? I'm not usually into skateboarding 'competition' but I've been addicted to these games of skate since last season. This years lineup is fairly groovy. Some of my favorite wooden plank riders pulled out wins already.

Busenitz proved again he skates 20x faster than anyone even when he's playing skate and Rick Howard's victory with Rip reading the rules pretty much made my week. Mike Valley also provided the most embarrassing spectacle I've seen in a game of skate... but it was definitely entertaining.
