Are you 'known' for smoking?

Some people have a tendency to just keep it on the DL and just let a set few know. Some shout it out to the world (rallying, t-shirts, etc.)

Personally i dont announce it (correction, i dont announce it to draw attention), but my family knows because of my myspace page (lol, amsterdam pictures) and my friends know i smoke and consider me one of the more 'educated' sources to go to when it comes to weed, growing, etc.

How about you?

I feel that no matter its legality, its my right and i'm not going to feel pressured to keep it "bottled up". I'll tell random people i'm high, and i never once had a negative thing come about because of it!

Just today i was at walmart all blazed up...checking out i forgot one of my bags (which only had a small few things in the bottom it was hard to see if there were any more bags) and people were staring at me, and i said "Sorry, haha...i'm high!" the lady checking me out laughed and people were just smiling...which was pretty cool.

Any crazy stories about being high in public where people saw you/said something?

but in younger days we used to walk down the street smokin a "sneak a toke" shaped like a bullet and after we walked by someone popped their head out of a house and said to come on back and smoke some with them....hehe,,,... we ran. dumb idiots we where, prob best connection in town.......young daze.....

Most of my family know i smoke, To be honest i don't mind them knowing but i cant stand the boring conversations about why i should quit and basically them ranting on whilst being clearly mis-informed or just have a bias opinion anyway.

well when i said "announce", i dont run around daily letting everyone know. a passing comment as i leave walmart is nothing...people forget within seconds.

what i was getting at was more of do you wear t-shirts like NORML ones, or pot leaf tshirts, or do people in your area/family know you smoke openly, etc.

People usually gave me a terrified look when they looked at me, all started when I got a part time job working as Death aka the grim reaper, when people saw me they knew they where in trouble, so to look at me they usually wouldn't be thinking hmmmmm does he smoke, that was a strange old time in my life.

im pretty sure most think im into tennis and golf.

no one usually talks to me so i dont really know, but thats what i figure.

im usually not up until noon (parents think im up late studying)...for college classes i dropped 1st week of the semester...hehe....and they think my classes are late afternoon/evening.

they didnt let me go to the family reunion, and told the rest of the family that i had 'accedemic obligations'....i must have 'em all fooled.

Because I'm very quiet, reserved, and generally anti-social, and I can appear quite "innocent" to some due to my poor communication skills, most people just assume I'm a bit of a nerdy, perspicacious eccentric. I don't let many people know much about my true self either, so unless I know for a fact that a person smokes (and is not an idiot. Nothing worse than talking to an under cover police officer/kind of friend and having some moron walk up to you and ask for some "green"), they won't have a clue that I smoke. And if they ask, I would deny it.
