What's new

No sex yet

Hey guys, was wondering if you could help me out. I have 10 plants of mixed strains that still have not shown their sex yet. I have fimmed these plants about 3 or 4 times each so could this be the reason why? I dont know because I have never had any that didnt show this late in the season by now. Could these turn hermaphrodite? Thanks guys

They should show within the next 3 weeks. The really early strains are showing by now. but regular indoor strains shows in august most the time.

ya, its weird though, all 10 strains are from esbe, and were put out the end of may and are all between 4 and 6 feet tall. The other strains from esbe are all showing though in different spots. Maybe its just this spot. The strains are Cheese x B3, Deep Chunk X, Early Durban and a few others I lost the tags for. The Early Durban in the other spot is already budding.

At 44N you should at least see some pre-flowers by now.

Do the Esbe strains lean heavily to the sativa side???

Get a good magnifying glass and go pistil hunting at the nodes!

Tony, did any of your Baby's Breath seeds make it? We were late getting ours out but even with early planting, we rarely see flowers before August.

hey two heads, i have 3 babys breath plants going, all female. I started 15 but only 10 germed and 7 were males. Kinda bad luck I guess, I even had a trifoliate male. The females look OK and are about 3 feet tall and pretty stinky. Thanks for checking in 2 heads.

hey tony. good to hear you growing. just stopped in to say hi and good luck. i must add that only one plant is questionable in my grow. either a das burm or hellvitica. i forget which. i just killed the last of some tehren devil males this last week. it must be that particular spot. is it too shady?? please post pics of your cheese. i lost my whole spot to ants or some hungry bugs. all of them just disappeared. poof!! into thin air. im watching.
thanks, little j.
