No odor control strains

I know this has been done in various forms. At risk to minimal rep, I'll throw up one more.

I'm currently finishing up a nl#5 from highgrade-seeds. Just 1 plant, which obviously made things easier for stealth. No odor control was used, and frankly none was needed. Odor high point was at end of veg and start of flower. A faint odor could be detected at maybe 3-4 feet away, maybe. After it got into flowering, as close to zero as I think cannabis can be. You literally had to open the grow chamber and put your face up to the plant to smell it.

Other discussions talk about low smell. I'll call this a case of no smell, and curious if anyone has any similar experiences.

also white satin (both mandala, just in case you hadn't head of them) is hailed as a very low odor strain. something along the lines of a VERY light lemony mint, but that's supposed to be after harvest. a couple people i know who grew it said if you didn't know something was growing you wouldn't smell it at all.

I didn't know about satori and odor(or white satin for that matter). But that satori is that low is excellent info. Was on my long 'to grow list'. +rep to both of ya

Lowryder is one that I grew that had absolutely no odour whatsoever. Not that I recommend it at all though. It tasted of... horrible things.

sounds like you gagged just posting about it.
I had this strain in mind to try one day. I keep seeing things about the taste. The day is getting farther and farther away.........

also thanks madb and nykdynosaur, I have some mandala seeds coming, starting with 'satori' . Good to know I won't need a huge can-million filter.

Crystal is a very low to non odiferous strain IME.

Stiil it is a wise choice to use a carbon filter.

i agree with the people who have already stated you need odor control
nl is the most common low odor strain, but it still smells like weed

you might not notice it, and potheads might not notice the smell, but someone who doesnt smoke probably could

doesn't matter what strain you grow... there's always chance you get that super funk pheno that REQUIRES carbon filtration

better safe than in prison, IMO

my brainstorm (nlxhaze) was 99% odorless... but own a carbon filter is a good idea

wow! lot of good responses - +rep as many as i can
one person mentioned that being a smoker, i might not be able to notice the odor
i haven't had a puff of weed in years for various reasons - and i do have a good sense of smell - stand by my claim of this nl#5 - undetectable under normal conditions
i was ready to put a carbon filter on - the smell just didn't get to the point where i felt it was a security issue

You could try NL#9 by Sagarmatha. I got some outdoor and they arent stinky at all. Just a little bit of lemon flavour.
