I had heard this being said back when I was a wee little stoner, but I have a hard time believing this now. Aside from not tasting as good as buds, what is the difference between roach bud and bud bud?

We used to save our roaches, the ones we didn't swallow, to make roach joints. Which we'd save to make ... After 3 or 4 generations it got nasty as hell. Tastes a little thicker and roasted. Seems to up the body stone more than the high.

I always believed that, and still do. I mean, look at a filter on a cigarette after it's smoked. It's full of (evil) tars). Wouldn't the same thing happen with mj, except it'd be good tar? Ever clean your pipes and smoke the goo? You know you do!
The thing I can't believe is that there's a Wikipedia entry for the subject in the first place.

It's not easy either...you need to have moist lips to avoid burning them...which can prove difficult, 'cause, as we all know, after smoking a blunt/joint, you teh cottonmouth...

Randude-Riding around with half a joint in the "asstray" (ashtray)? doesn't sound safe to me ... yeah I smoke while I ride sometimes but I finish that joint and give the roach back to Mother Nature after I knock off the cherry. It's not a good thing IMHO to have weed just hanging out giving the PoPo something to smell.

I just use filter tips and roll myself a filter , so i know when it nis finished , i always throw the last 1/3 inch away , yuck!

I like having a roach every once and a while. I think joints all ways start getting good towards the end, and I have all ways attributed this to the resin. I might just be a stoner....

Roach contents when reused have never been more potent, as far as I can see. Also, I used to have a pipe which held stash inside so that smoke would flow thru the stored stash and allow smoke resin to accumulate. The smoke-resinated/tarred stash never seemed any more potent either. Just tasted bitter.

why you don't just roll a little filter out of thin cardboard like we're used to do it over here in europe?! you don't need a clip and you can smoke the whole joint and don't have to save a roach or waste it.

I like the filters too. I use a joint paper folded up to make it a filter. Im in the states btw.

IMHO roaches get you really stoned, reguardless if its sativa or indica.
