Put four Panama seeds into some rockwoll a few days ago and all four of them germed and the seedlings seem vigorous. :woohoo:

But I'm not writing just to brag about my success; I also want to say how much I appreciate your packaging. The fact it has the date the seeds were picked written on it is really great, I've always thought it should be there but I think this is the first time I've actually seen it. And I like that the thing the seeds are in is resealable since I don't have the space to run a full pack at once. The packaging looks really slick / "professional" too.

Yes, Panama and Diesel are quite different,

Diesel aroma is sour and sweet like mature tangerine, panama has lemony, spicy woody incensey old school sativa aromas.

I like Diesel a lot, it has a nice happy sativa dom effect with lovely taste, but Panama is quite more powerful, dangerous and long lasting. Flowering time, final size and yield are quite similar for both strains.

Thanks for the comments about our pakaging, we think it's beautiful, easy to identify and safe. Hope you enjoy with your new little Panamas!

Thanks to the few replies to my other postings about Panama Red, this thread on Panama, and the friendly replies from Ace Seeds, I am breaking my code of silence and ultimate secrecy to buy seeds for the feminised Panama sseds......Thank you Ace Seeds for your additional support in light cycles for the Panama veg and flower phases.

"You can grow it with standard photoperiod conditions, veg them for at
least 3-4 weeks (18 hours light/6 hours dark diarly) then change
photoperiod to 12/12 and let them flower. Variables are like a classic
indoor grow.

Best wishes, thanks for contact us. - ACE Seeds -"

I was so surprised at the lighting, it is exactly how I have been growing fro years. Ace seeds has done an incredibale amount of research, work and HUGE time investment to bring these treasures to us in half the time!!!! AWESOME job guys, now let's hope I am equally happy with my first harvest next spring !!!!

Keep it green, flowering, and share out of friendship and peace,

Panama Red is the old school sativa Rush that leaves you waystead. Good on you for keeping the Central American Strains happening for all of us to Enjoy. They take a little longer to fully mature and expand your Head.

I've smoked most of the panama I ran indoors in May, and have to say I really like it a lot, a definite keeper for me. Potent smoke, for me. Besides the nice lemon smell, I like the hints of incense I get. I have a very BIG mustache and the incense smell lingers there, very nice. I would like to find a green pheno.

Some of my outdoors panama, organic and guerilla style.

North

Dubi,

I'm REALLY interested in this strain, but i'm a Northern grower, at 45.5Nlat.I have a short season not coastal.

any idea on finishing times outdoors in northern climes like mine?

I read that mold resistance is good?

how does it breed ?, what does it pass on in crosses generally?

ShoeboxSherman, what Lat are you at, looks like their just starting to flower?

Hi North, I'm at 38N. Mine were just starting to flower in those photos, about 2 weeks ago. This is my first time with Panama outside, but it won't be my last :)
