Piff's First Scrog

hello all, Im starting up my next grow and I finally have clones to do a scrog with.. So here it is.. I placed 3 clones into my main system today.

I plan on perfecting this before I get a new strain so once again I am growing Blue Widow.

Also I am using the Mr.Clean car wash fliter for filtering my water down from 280ppm to less than 20, Im not sure how often or long I should be using the cal-mag yet but ill figure that out along the way..

• 150w Hps
• DIY Cooltube Bake-a-round
• Stanley Blower extraction fan
• FF hydro nutes(grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom, open sesame, beastie bloomz, cha ching)
• Cal-mag plus
• Superthrive(only early and very sparingly)
  
• Clearex(for nutrient flush)

Ambient Temp at plant is 77°F, Water Temp is 75°F today
The PPM is 352 with nutes added.

In the past when I had heat issues, I would open the door and the temp would go down some.. Now its odd but with the new fan when I open the door to take a look at the plants the temp goes up slightly.. I think its very odd but not a problem really.

Well I would like to flower them as soon as possible so im gonna wait till I can get the screen is like halfway full, but since this is my first scrog and im unsure as too how long it will take for that too happen.. I'm assuming it will be 2 weeks or less to get to that point. But maybe some of you experience scrogers can enlighten me if im delusional.

Even though Im all for organics, I gotta say Im loving the results from superthrive.. This stuff is amazing for mothers and seedlings.. I see instant results in new growth from my mother.. And my little clonelings are growing these really thick roots that Ive never seen this strain produce. The clonelings are starting to grow vertically and ill put some pics up in a day or 2 when its more exciting..

Got to say I love it. I use this Nutri Life product (just a little goes a long way) it really lowers PH and keeps the roots as white as Michael Jackson

sorry if i cant see or read but do u have any oxygen going to those roots, i work in mainly organic soil but i do know roots need air especially in hydro. look good tho and if this is another run im sure you know what your doing. peace

Hydrosun- Thx for stopping by, My roots are extremely white... they just have big bloom clinging to em.. in the group pic you can see some of the big bloom gathering where the 4th plant would be..

dbfr3sh - I have 2 air stones in my res. and there is 2 waterfall actions, one where the water empties back into the res. and one where the water enters the pipe.

Standaman- JoeyWeed, although it was over a year ago that I ordered the seeds, when I look at the same strain he has a different description because I believe he switched up the parents

Thanks PiffG! Never heard of JoeyWeed though but was looking at i think it's Dinafem's BBxWW that lil mix just appeals to me for some reason!

I just looked into Dinafem's Blue Widow and it has the same pic that Joeyweed used, but with a much more accurate description. And yea I wanted some WW but I also wanted BB and I couldnt choose between the two, then I saw the BBxWW and it was like a dream come true. lol I would love to get my hands on a purple strain next.

Update..

Changed the water today, put the PPM to about 860, and the girls are just starting to get tall enough to bend back..

Well i thought i was growing straight BB but everyday i'm smelling it and i really really think its Blue Cheese i'm growing. Not really ecstatic about it but hey its my first grow.

How long are you vegging for? Or you already 12/12 now?

Well this is my first scrog so im not sure yet about how long I will need to veg. Im going to wait till the screen is about half way full. But I can guarantee that the superthrive is speeding up the process, This stuff is amazing. Right now my lights are at 16/8..

Well i went 5 weeks with my 3 BB's which more or less filled it up.

Superthrive is great! It's really effective for such a bottle. But i cannot for the life of me bear the smell of it.
