silk screen measurements

Hello to all, hope u guys are having a great Sunday!

I would like to get some monofilament polyester silk screen, and found a place in the States that sells it. (i dont live in the US, btw.. and if someone knows some other place online that sells it, please share).

My question is:

as they have the measures in TPI (threads per inch) and not in microns, i would like to understand and know wich one corresponds in microns. They are:

Monofilament Fabric, 61 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 74 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 86 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 110 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 125 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 140 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 160 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 200 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 232 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 284 TPI
Monofilament Fabric, 305 TPI

Please help me because I searched as far as I could and coulndt find anything that helped me. Sorry if this is a lame question but i'm not into the computer s thing and searches and google.

TPI = threads per inch

aka LPI = lines per inch

aka = also known as

Chamba = very vaporized atm

atm = at the moment

threads per inch is left column. the only thing that would worry me is you need a specific thread thickness across all manufacturers to have any guarantee of equivalence. but you can maybe have the mfg you're talking about confirm this chart for you:

Check out hazemaker.com its a site that sells boxes and screens, without having to buy a ton of screen. Only thing is its stainless steel its 100 microns I belive. I have personally used this screen to make my own box. It works great! The maker goes on to state that silkscreen is inferior to the stainless steel. I have never used silk screen so I can't say what is better or not but I have had good results with my box. (5 x 10") I also have a spacecase in which is a stainless steel screen of I belive 100 microns. Sorry to ramble just my two cents.
