yeah tea's great. I like all kind of em. But didn't like tea when I was in Marroco they put way too much sugar in it.
here you get free green tea with all your meals or even with coffee.
I had to replace the booze as well and tea is the best.
Favorite teas, roiboos, lao green tea, jasmin, earl grey, and they sell pommegranate iced tea it rules. Lipton thailand have mango Iced tea great for cotton mouth.
Tea is what I drink these days, no coffee.
Also try fan leafs for tea with honey.
peace

i have a tea thread ...i think it was shoved over to the food forum.

anyway ..i like hot herbal teas...not gonna go into 'em all right now.

where i grew up ppl didnt drink tea, and now im in N-texas, and if u go to a resturant they just assume u want tea...they just ask sweet or unsweet....i always look at 'em like im stupid (or they're stupid)...and just get water.

....and then i ask for a pitcher of ice water, and usually dont get one...so i have to bug and bug and bug them for more water, because they are too fukin busy walkin around refillin tea.

...they ask if everything was OK?....nope not enuff water, and not much tip either.

sorry for the lil rant, but there is one cold tea that i love....i dont know if its really tea or if its candy, but sobe green tea...that shit is the bomb!

When I lived in N Texas, I would always order both ice tea and ice water. Then the waitress would usually bring me refills for both water and tea. This worked pretty well in the smaller places e.g. Souper Salads, but was less reliable in larger restaurants. If refills became a problem in larger places, I would just walk over to the station and pour my own damn water.

Sweetened tea is a big deal in the south. Lots of folks want it pre-sweetened so they don't have to hassle with the little sweetener bags. And practically everyone in the south wants iced tea with their meals. So the establishments and waitresses are looking out for the majority. LOL

That's all for now...

I like to drink tea when I am high. No sugar, usually, so it don't mess with me high.

I read long ago how the Moroccans drank a mint tea and I found a company that makes it in the states, an Oregon company called Stash. Kind of a cool name lol. They make a lot of tea and Moroccan Mint is one of my favorites.
yes sir that STASH...mint tea is one of my FAV'z......
there blackemglish breakfast tea iz also good.......:2cents:

Anyone have recommendations for a strong 'morning' tea, something to wake me up? I would like to replace black coffee because it is not good on my stomach.

Lane® Black TeaSome days are like that... your "things to do" list goes way beyond your time and energy. What's needed is jet fuel and hyperspeed. The closest you can come is Fast Lane Black Tea. This high-energy tea blend contains the Java*-grown leaves favored by the Dutch for centuries. We pack in eleuthero to create something extraordinary and strong. Legend has it that reindeer, symbols of endurance in Russia and the Orient, like to eat eleuthero in the wild. Along with eleuthero, we add spicy cinnamon and nutmeg for an exciting taste. This high-energy tea is a welcome break from coffee. When your brain's fried but you need to stay in high gear, grab some FAST LANE... quick!

*Formerly part of the Dutch
