Can anybody tell if this outdoor plant is a male or female? I can't really tell. Or is it too early to tell? :chin:

It looks like a male to me, but it's kind of hard to tell. You'll be able to tell in a few days though..

There is no clear shot there. Doesn't really look like its flowering yet. Unless you can get a better picture then its not really discernible right now.

its definately not apparent in the pics, give it some more time. You will know, you should be able to see a nice transluscent hair coming from one of the crotches, but you will definately know if its a male when the balls show up. Its unmistakable, right now its just too early to tell

I'll say male but wait and see. Female preflowers are smooth and pear shaped and will split open and throw out two white hairs.

Male pre flowers have little leaves that wrap around the preflower, Imagine the pollen sack is the corn with leaves wrapped around it. If you mess with the pre flower and there are any leaves attached to the premature flower most likely a male.

Female preflowers should be completely devoid of these leaves so anything extra means male. It never hurts to wait and see I've seen some funky female preflowers also that surprised me.

I agree with MK. Seems like no matter how much you hope, unless the preflower is a smooth, pear shaped nub, it turns out a male.
