I was over at a neighbor's house yesterday, just hanging out shootin' the shat, when I notice they have one of those solarium windows....for a small garden.

So, i'm looking at the plants in there and after a minute I just blurt out "You better stop givin' that basil too much water".......His wife says to me "I been trying to figure out what's wrong with it"

Christ, I was thinking to myself, it needed some ferts too....

Ohhh brother

I am constantly appraising vegetative matter of all kinds. Houseplants, gardens, by the side of the road growth.

I scan veg everywhere - spotted our herb more than a few times, or smelled grow houses in the neighbourhood.

I have a green eye, and thumb, and nose.

Yeah, me too Classy....

Nothing more beautiful than a thriving, healthy creature :joint:

Just kind of took my buddy's wife back a bit when I was there having a beer and diagnosing her "garden"....

I talk about every thing to do with gardening with people all of the time.

They grow rice and sugar cane here, and since it is new to me, I ask about it. It is actually very interesting how they farm here. They sow rice seeds from an airplane.

That would be a cool stoner job.. It is a lot like riding a lawnmower, but you are using gps and doing stunts between passes.

Or even better yet Ran, almost like a video game!

That would be cool :joint:

man i get busted all the time tellin ppl what their houseplants need

told my parents about the lack of nitrogen i was seeing in their olive tree....they asked 'how do you know?'...i said i just know...they arent stupid so they know how i know...but conversation ended there.

also got a strange look when i asked a family member for a cutting of a rare houseplant....it was a big big vine that covered their whole dining room.....i guess they didnt figure that i know how to clone.

and here at the house i finally have a badass avacodo plant that i started from the pit...after about 9 months its about 3 feet tall,

and i have a pineapple plant that i started from cutting the top off a storebought pineapple....been 6 months on that and new growth is awesome ...old growth looks like junk, but it def growing....i love a plant challenge.

gf's mom has an indoor aloe plant about the size of a vw bug...have a nice piece of that one too.

Hahaha. Better be more careful randude. Now we know you are in the Mekong Delta. Must be a lot of old unexploded mines on the ground for them to sow seeds from the air huh?
So how do they harvest? With a boat? Hahaha.
You ever toked on Phenom Penh? I hear it's one of the most mind warping trees to grow.

I'm terrible for doing this. I remember walking past a patch of stinging nettles and saying to a friend, "Those two on the left clearly need more nitrogen." He gave me a funny look and told me I'm crazy.

I love to watch EVERYTHING grow. I got my 3 grow rooms, a veggie garden, Hibiscus', Penas...I would rather surround myself with my dogs and any plants all day over the sheep we call people..lmao
