im in the yay growin and smokin sour d rite now. all indoors tho. wish i could throw some bitches outside. :joint:

I had some issues with revegging but im happy to say its all figured out now due to a nice blackout tent i made. I got the clones from harborside and they took awhile to root up and shoot out but something was def funky about the light cycle they were getting.

I got a 6 cuts of sour diesel from harborside and grew them next to 6 cuts of Hindu Skunk from Blue Sky. The 6 sour diesel yielded about 200g when the Hindu yielded about 800g. On top of that the Sour Diesel was not very good at all. I think Harborside either mixed my cuts up with something else or the Sour Diesel is weak. Just my two cents.

Also, when growing clones outside they normally have the problem of flowering right away then going back into veg. A clone is a very old plant and is just waiting to flower. I recommend next summer you go to Harborside and buy some BOG seeds and grow those out. You will have a much better product in the end.

Thanks for the advice. I def had some issues with them flowering then revegging but for the most part its turning out fine. This was a pure sour diesel clone, not hybrid. For all I know hside could be naming the clones anything they want. Everyone I talk to that bought clones from hside has some sort of problem with revegging! I am going to order some "fucking incredible" seeds next year.

yep. pretty sure if you grown the sour d and it doesn't really stand out, its a bonk ibl pheno picked by someone who doesn't really know how to select. my sour d runs right next to bubba kush, chemdog d, and headband and it defineatly holds its own (quality and yield). comparing it to hindu skunk isn't fair. hindu skunk is a commercial strain, no questions asked, it yields out the ass. but it's not very good imo, everyones growing it, ive had MANY samples. id be very careful with any clones from harborside, as you never really know what your getting. seeds are a great idea outdoors, just gotta make sure to be on top of sexin. the og outdoor growers claim to me that the product from seed outdoors organic cannot be beat by anything. im not really an outdoor grower though, but i am a sour diesel smoker:joint:

It's a fun strain, very tastey ans stinks to high heaven when flowering. It flowers a bit past 60-65 days and cures quickly, the flavor stands out after just a few days drying. Be careful with hermi flowers and bannana leaves from stress, try to keep the grow environment perfect in these sweltering temps and you should have some nice bud to smoke..If they had dried SD flowers at Harborside, the clones should produce similar product...
