Pineapple Clone-Only from Mendo

I got it from Reflections of Avalon in mendocino county. I have reason to believe it is legitimate for several reasons:
1. The people running the club were knowledgable on the different strains and were very imformative and professional.
2. I also got a cutting of The Cheese that was the real deal. I've had cheese from several different clubs and none turned out as good as that clone I got did :muahaha:

So overall I would recommend them for clones. However, I did find that making friends with the people around there has its benefits, as you can usually find a wider selection of premium genetics from local growers/breeders. Almost ended up getting a strain called purple monkey ball :bashhead: looking back I wish I had room in my garden at the time lol

i have had pineapple or a cross of it in my outdoor patch every year sense 2000..it grows exactly like u described...all the crosses i have made with it have the Hybrid "vigor"...it makes anything its crossed to a stronger more robust outdoor style plant...grows big and the yields can be crazy..

Thats great to know! I wanted it for breeding purposes cuz I got a lot of strains for this year that would make great hybrids with the pineapple.
What sort of crosses have you done with it?

Well I happened to come across some seeded pineapple a while back (feb.) and it was grown outdoors in Humboldt, very nice stuff. Super heavy aroma, aMAYzing taste, incredibly fruity, heavy hint of pineapple. The only problem I had was that it was seeded... but that didn't turn out to be a problem as I now have LOADS of these beans. I don't know if the seeds were a result of hermies self pollinating or not, but they are atleast 50% pineapple, if not 100%. I've got a few of them started and they are growing so fast! This bud was incredibly dense, but the seeds probably made me think it weighed more than it did. So far this is the only bud I've got from that area that was seeded, but I'm very glad I got it! Might I mention that I don't live in CA so this bud is a lot more rare than usual around here. but yes, this bud was awesome and I'm glad someone on here has had it too!

IMHO, Not C99, but may be related... Sativa Dominant. Big Yielder. Good outdoors. A bit of an "Aggro" buzz...

Great smell, that does not always translate to the taste. Depends on the grower...

I never expect the clones I get at clubs to be what they are labeled as... But, occasionally, it happens... lol...

Good Luck w/all....

Pineapple has sharp serrated leaves... The UK looks a lot more skunk with bulbous bracts
California's Pineapple is much spicier and kind of a burnt pineapple with a very sneezey smell as well (I remember this being a strain that just made my eyes water)

Yeah I picked some up in may from the club in Ukiah. They were even healthier looking than the ones from last year. They are now in my garden and growing just like bamboo
I'll throw some pics up pretty soon, they're very visually appealing.
And yeah Swamp I agree with you on the deliciously eye-watering smell and taste. Hands down my favorite strain in the garden.
