Nice looking Wreck, for sure... what are those at, about 75 days? The buds have some good bulk to them, it looks like they've been flushed perfectly, and I'll bet you got a really respectable yield out of that floppy vine of a plant. Fuck yeah, RM! Bring that shit!

First time I've ever heard 'tuna' applied as an aroma descriptor to the Wreck. I usually think of rotting salami or another dead meat smell, but I'll have to search for the tuna note when my current Wrecks are ready. I pick out mainly lemons, Pine-Sol, rotting meatstuffs and cheap gasoline. I don't have any finished Wreck to sniff right now...

As disgusting a combination of scents as that is on paper, there are few smells in real life more beautiful than well-cured E32/Arcata Trainwreck right from the grinder, am I right? Oh... my... gosh... I think that's one of the reasons why Trainwreck is so medicinally useful, it has serious aromatherapeutic value.

shaunmulok, ICETOKER, Phillthy, masterKahn, growshower, PondeLftHndSide - thanks for the comments

For sure the bouquet is incredible, stinks up the whole house. The first time my girlfriend smelled it she was like "tunafish!" and I said that's the dead whale you're smelling. Since then that's what I notice, pine cleaner and bad tuna although I can definitely smell the rotting salami also. It gets to be too much when you're trimming though, makes my eyes water and I get sorta nauseous after a while.

Any of guys get a menthol scent like vics from the arcata cut? Specially when I use a grinder, the menthol-fuel in the scent seem to explode from the grinder hehe.. I get mostly vics menthol lemon-fuel upfront with a pungent dank vitamin-metalic funkness to it..

I grew H3ads arcata tw bx1's though, so I expect some differences.. I'm just trying to get an idea for just how similar to the cut my selection is.. I know it's gotta be close flavor-smell wise cause all the decsriptions I see are pretty close to what I get from these buds, though it seems to be lacking the strong dead meat u guys pick up on. Behind the lemon-fuel menthol, I get more of what I find to be a unique vitamin b, metalic pungency with a lil acrid ghani dankness in there.

I find the high/stone to be a real fitting for me. The plant I selected seems to be my preferred mix of sativa/indica effects.. trippy head high without the anxiety or paranoia of some others, and a solid body high that keeps you in the same spot you smoked for a good hr as you enjoy the heady effects:smile: Great tv/movie herb.. I find myself zoning out, and watching the stupidest shit sometimes after I smoke the tw bx1 LOL..

Would you mind if I put a few pics up Rolando? The flowers from these seed plants looked pretty similar as well

I had a feeling it these were close:wink: Thanks for ur opinion dank.. Great news for me, those who won the few H3ad auctions a couple weeks ago, and those who have these cuts:rasta:..

Plants were pretty consistent as far as the smell flavor went. I kept 2 outta 4females I grew, one was as described, and the other has a bit more lime-citrus in the scent. Both unique in smell/flavor to anything else I've grown prior though. Sure there are lots of strains which kick out strong citrus-fuel scents, but the uniqueness in these is that funky dank pungency and menthol that goes along with it.

So are you all saying there is a decent TW in seed form?

H3ad?

I've never run the cut, but from the sounds/looks of it, it does seem to be very close. Head outcrossed to a pure thai before the backcross to the accata, so if anything it seems it may show a lil of those traits in the pre-flower stretch/leaf shape-structure.

These pics are off 3 of the 4 seed plants. Many more in my album and grow journal if interested

Also: added blackstrap molasses to the flush for the first time and damn! it was like they were turbo flushed. I'll be doing that from now on. grown in coco btw.

randude101 - It's my understanding that the sugars in the molasses increase the microcritters in the substrate which in turn break down any remaining nutes which helps the plants flush. They did seem to yellow very quickly this time, we'll see how they taste.

It's true, a lot of killer herb in Oregon! :abduct:
