I also put the only 3 clones with roots into 12/12

just so there's no confusion ... these three clone didn't hit 12/12 till today because they drooped quite a bit from the transplant from cloner to soil ... all three perked up today ... which is what i'm calling Day 1

looks like you have an indica pheno. Mine is indica and fruity as hell I have described it as sangria wine but you could say cherry. check out the fat leaved clones on the right in my cloner they are all ak.

how was the smell during veg? i can't smell anything fruity anywhere so far ... smells more like spicy dead stuff (?)

Question for the SOG experts.

This is my first time trying to get a perpetual SOG going and I have a question.

I've always heard that most of you throw the clones in just after taking root.

My question is this ... Should I wait to flower once the roots colonize the pot? ... or did I do right by taking them from the cloner and putting straight to 12/12.

M reasoning is that I'm afraid growth will be stunted because they are still trying so hard to establish roots ... I definitely don't want 8-12" plants at the end. I was shooting for like a 14g-28g plant at about 1.5-2 feet tall at the end. Should I just veg these up to about 8"? Or atleast when I see new growth at the top?

Man AK-47 was my first grow, from seed back in '02. Good stuff! I tried to cut my growing teeth in an Ebb&Grow, what a pain! But man, the AK is some SERIOUS smoke, knock you on yer ass shit! Don't let new smokers try it or they'll freak out, trust me on this!

well i made an executive decision and threw the 4 that were in flower back on 24/0 because I want them at about 8" when they go in there.

If I throw in the donor mother plants into flower today ... should the 10 weeks it takes to flower them be enough to turn their kids into mothers.

Right now finding the keeper pheno is of utmost priority then i will flower the clones at different heights to see where that budsicle sweetspot is and go from there?

I want some perpetual buds fast but I want to do it right also

jwop.......10 weeks should be more than enough time to turn a few into mothers, if you throw the original mother into flower. Figure a couple/3 weeks to root, then a month or two to veg. Should have big ass mother bushes by then.

Here's the other Ak I let flop over for it's entire life. I have higher hopes for the seeds contained in the other pheno.

as of now we have 8 tops on each of these four ...

i dont think im going to toss any clones until i run all four females with a little or no veg

just talking to myself because just because they perform topped a couple times doesnt mean they will perform sog style

Thanks for stopping back by. My plants are looking real good so far on plain tap water. They seem to love the Miracle Grow Organic/Perlite. The clones this time are getting the little white nubs all OVER the place as opposed to last time when it was just a couple slow growing. I'm going to let them root until they have a nice little rootball. I'm also toying with the idea of throwing one of my best performers in the Waterfarm (need new lavarocks though). I don't think I'm going to do that until the 5th week of 12/12. That way when I harvest the 4 original mother plants, my hydro will only have 5 weeks left. Then it's perpetual time.

How's your AK coming along? Do you have a thread somewhere?

Harvested my AK47 last night. I'll report back to ya'll with a smoke report as soon as it dries. I got these seeds around 2004. Already have 3 clones of the same AK getting ready to take their turn in the box. (They're in the bullpen warming up.)

Once my original reverts enough to produce clones I'm gonna fill my whole room up with this AK and maybe one other plant.
