you dont break it to LST it. you just bend it to have more surface area of the plant under the light. That way you get more space, more buds

hrm the more i look, the more it looks like a Hermie. i cant tell though. the pods could be female with the pistils not exposed yet.

that's supercropping, and it might apply here, but it wouldn't fix the problem
yeh you wont have it show hermie yet... just preflowers. do you see any white pistils coming out anywhere?

Is your growth still throwing 5 finger fans? You need to have been developing flowers and reached a cola for your main stem by now. Supercropping -might- work in this case, however I kind've doubt it. Even if you supercrop a main cola, it will still return to a fully upright posistion. Infact, it usually grows stronger(taller, in some cases) when it returns with the "elbow" it formed. You probably should've been LSTing the plant this entire time, I'm not sure how you will reduce her height and sotp stretching through flowering without doing some serious damage to what appears to be a pretty thin stalk. Maybe you'll think of something I didn't, but, generally plants don't like to be constricted by cielings(or touching lights)
start lsting it now bend the shot outa the plant more each day you can even train it in a spiral around that small area. i would recomend getting a Y to double your socket and get two higher watt cfls it will only cost you bout 10-15 bucks but would be well worth the investment. remember mj is a crazy plant you can abuse the shit outa it and still have it come right back.

hey jester, if your plant keeps pulling out of the string you could always make little "shepard hooks" out of a wire coat hanger, and poke them down into the soil to hold the plant down. I will put up a pic of my little mother in training that I did it to sometime tomorrow.
Here's three of my plants. My cab is 23" tall. The first plant is about 24" tall and only needs to be bent at a slight angle to fit in the cab at this point. (8.5 weeks into 12/12) Most of the rest of my 13 plants have needed to be tied down for the last month or longer. I had no idea what i was doing, so I basically just got some twine, tied it loosely around the stem and ran that twine down under the bottom of the container. It's a pain in the ass, but my plants all fit in the cab. On my next run, I'll do my best to LST them before they get so big.
