It is me , you can do it. Grab a light and a plant and a timer and your on, In a basic way.Herbal, the pots that work best for me are the 2 and 1/2 gallon hydro mesh pots. I basically vegg for ten days in my ebb and grow under the 1000 watt MH and then put 20 plants per 8 by 4 tray. I get a full canopy with that method.

Gotta love the 60 inch 2k cooltubes. I paid 650 for the whole setup that included the tube the reflector, the two ballasts andf the two bulbs. Perfect for a 4 by 8 tray. It puts out a lot of light so I would say that you need to be having healthy plants before you bloom with these.

Looks like fire, just not GDP. I could be some kind of cross but there arent any of the leaf colorations that are normal on the GDP and there is no real darkness to the buds(GDP gets dark early). Not to say you arent growing some fire cause it looks great, it just doesnt look like GDP. Respect either way.

Impressive Yield

Thank you rainman and Darkstar. I go through so many plants and clone people that I gotta say it gets confusing. I also get genetics from local breeders and they ask that we not release the name. K+ for the details, pics and price summary. Specially the expense of growing indoors, It puts a grow into perspective for the haoles. This takes alot of $, time, effort and love to pull great herb like that. You know what? I grew out a cut of GDP from Mendocino that purpled all up and stuff, wasn't great herb at all, I think most people with awesome "GDP" actually have a variation of purple strains. Yours looks way better than reg. GDp IMO, like a Better purple hybrid of some sort...awesome!

Ah yes Moldy I do indeed love thinking green. The man hours and sacrifice is unbelievable.Nice details on that Mendo bud. The breeder that this strain comes from gets 5k a pound for his shit and that is local to Northern california. Of course his looks better than mine but the only difference is that he uses Co2 and has more tricks up his sleeve as far as being a more experienced grower. I saw one thread on this site where a dude vegged out 3 plants 6 weeks and flowered under 4 600 watters and consistently gets 5 pds. The best thing to understand for noobs is it is not the plant count so much as your genetics and lighting/feeding and ventilation system. Bless those that can keep it simple.

3 plants pulling 5 pounds, sounds great got a link?

Would love to check out the complete setup.

My next run is going to be gdp and would be more than happy to snag a couple more 600's.

Anyone have any 3lbs+ pics of gdp laying around? Would love to see a dried and cured yield pic.

Medmaker, try to find a gdp or purple elephant cross and vegg for 3 to 4 weeks (especially if it is straight up GDP) and you should be fine. Smokeman , thanks for the compliment, it can be so easy if done right the first time and as stated on my post and spelled out it can also be done on a budget. The hardest part is real estate. El Capitan-It happens all the time with breeders that have new crosses that are unreleased and they just charge 5k because it is that good.
Now I feel like I have to find that post where the dude vegged for 6 weeks 3 plants and yielded 5 pds off of 4 600's. Very efficient setup, I read the whole thread. He is just really skilled at growing trees. I tryed like heck to find yesterday but ill try to find it, sure that I will run into it again.

I do a ton of work with Granddaddy Purple, Urkel and Granddaddy Grape Ape. Your plants look a lot like this Purple Urkel x Big Bud cross that a local guy in Mendo did that is really leaning towards the Big Bud side. He has clones of it everywhere. I have over 1,000 seeds of this same cross done by myself. I cull most of the Big Bud leaning offspring.

I was running 8 1,000's and getting 13lbs to 15lbs per run with Grape Ape. I am doing 10 1,000's this run with 150 clones of a mixture of Granddaddy Purple, Grand Daddy Grape Ape and the Urkel leaning Phenotype of my Urkel x Big Bud Cross. I am hoping for about 15lbs to 17lbs this run dried and cured.

Before anyone ask for pics they are in my gallery, and before anyone ask if that is weight on the stalks or with stems, NO that is buds only (pop corn buds hashed) dried and cured.

Nice Grow.

Nice Grow security ... But I have to ask ...

Nice Grow security ... But I have to ask ...

Are y'all by chance being sarcastic ??? If not ... Why is .6 to .75 GPW so hard to believe? And why would anyone question it to the extent that you felt a need to post what you did at the end there reslabs? It might just be me being me ... but ... I'm not seeing these results as being as amazing as y'all seem to think they are. Before anyone asks for pics ... they're in my gallery ... and I have threads ... and I haven't given results ... but If asked ... when I do ... they will be dried Buds and the popcorn will have been Hashed (If this means Not Included in the total weight).

Im not being sarcastic at all. A few people I know of get 20 pd harvests all the time. This is Norcal. When someone tells me they get 10 pds or more I believe them cause its happening everywhere.

Hey reservation, those are some nice colas!!

No Sarcasm at all. That isn't my nature. I shoot from the hip. The reason for letting people know that the photos were in my gallery is because a lot (yes a lot) of people don't get those kinds of pulls from their runs so they have doubt, so as they say a picture is worth 1,000 words. So I have pictures in my gallery. Being that is what a picture gallery is for.
