Fuck,,,, i got 5 dp blueberrys fems,,, they are veging if this happens to me i quit smoking weed !

These were not even fem...Blueberry is a sensitive fucking plant! Low nutes,cool temps and good circulation. Even with all of that in place shit can still go wrong. My temps stayed in the 72-75 degerees F,with humidity right in the 50% range. GOD blessed all my other plants but for some reason the BB did not like me =/ I will try this again but with DJ Shorts TrueBlueberry.

Hey Hempluvr, take it easy. Your plants look great otherwise. Pick the sacks off if possible and let them finish hermie or not... You don't have to rake through every bud but if they are hanging off the lower branches, simply pull them off- often they are sterile- no pollen, sometimes not... Remember, your goal is the resin!

I've grown almost the entire DJ Short lineup without hermies. I've grown Dutch Passion's Original Flo, no hermies- in fact, I'm breeding with this strain... I avoid femmed strains if possible.

People are quick to blame the breeder when hermies appear. I think this is a mistake... The breeder has grown more weed than you and I both. "Professional" breeders don't let wildly hermied strains go to market...

Is it possible you've had a light leak (happens often)? Is it possible the plants have been root bound for a period of time? Did your plants experience pH fluctuations? Any strain can hermie under conditions such as these...

No light leaks at all. They have been in the 2 gallon pots for over a month. Probably are root bound. But with other plants in the same flowering area it would be impossible to finish them. I don`t want them pollinating anything else. Other plants are younger and have just the right amount of time to produce seed if pollinated. I am thinking of moving them to another area and let them finish there. I do have another light I can throw up. Thanks for the insight + K for ya

Thanks for stopping in ronjohn. Man If I had the room I would move them to a place to finish. But no room and I cannot afford for these to pollinate my other plants. Sure there would probably be some nice crosses,but damn!!!! Keep It GreeN!

With all this taken into a factor and having this BB mutant and it's throwing more nanner's than I have ever seen in all my years of growing, and I'll tell everyone this, if your thinking of growing BB do your research on the best breeder because this BB isn't a yielder but the smoke is the bomb.For the little bit that I got from a huge plant, so it's You have to take small yield and great smoke or go with another strain like the CRITICAL MASS I have right now and it has the biggest yield I have ever had or close too anyway, and the smoke is so great, I would recommend this strain to anyone it's well worth it. Full of resin like you read about and the bag appeal is seriously unreal these buds are WELL WORTH IT, and the White Widow from DP if you can get the right mother out of these like I did almost 6 years ago, I have been growing and breeding with it ever since I got it, and last but mos def not least SSH is the best smoke I have ever smoked and it is on my next grow list that's for sure!!

Research before growing BB is a must. Nanner city over here! I have never seen so many nanners in my life. These ladies never gave me any issues until late in flowering. If I didn`t have so many other strains going then I would let these ladies finish. This is week 8 for then anyway. 2 look done(just with nanners all over the place)and the mutant is still throwing out new pistils along with nanners. This shit is still sticky. No worries in that area. I`ll still post a smoke report when this shit is done curing up. I will be growing out DJ`s True Blueberry this winter...hope to be smoking that right around new years. Keep It Blue!

I have the same problem with the nanner's but, the later you let them go the better they are, mine turn purple and stinky, but I took 1 too early and it was worthless smoke, so make sure you look at trichs and go 50/50 cloudy amber and you'll love them, if not you'll be pissed with garbage. I also think anyone that is lookingfor agood strain that yields and has some unreal bud, then CRITICAL MASS from MR. NICE or White Widow you'll be happy.

I took one of them down last night and chopped a majority of it up for hash. I did save the top,trimmed it up and it is hanging. The other 2(mutant and more sativa dom)will be left to finish as I go nanner snatching tonight. It`s like fucking Halloween but instead of candy I get nanners...yay for me. This is some seriously time consuming shit! I will be growing out Blueberry again but this time it will be DJ Shorts True BB. Maybe I will have better luck next time! But the more I think about this the more it pisses me off. I wonder how many seedlings it will take before I find that true Blueberry tasting/smelling pheno....with NO NANNERS! Keep It Blue IC! <----the day I found nanners!

When would you say the berry smell comes through? Your sure right about the slow vegging and weird looking leaves i noticed it seems to be a common trait with BB. As for Nanner's whats the latest they can join the party?

Thanks for the kind words Standaman! Berry smell all depends on if you get a blueberry pheno. You may not. Only one of these 3 had that berry smell and it came in about week 6 of flowering. It started as slight berry smell,then as time went on progressed to really strong. Everytime I walked in the room I could smell that over everything(cept one unknown stinky bitch) Blueberry is slow in veg but once flowering really kicks in expect a blow up.


I had nanners join the party on 2 plants as early as 3-4 weeks into 12`s. That 1st encounter pissed me off but there wasn`t that many. So I peeled them off and called it a day. By week 7.5 all 3 were INFESTED BADLY! I`m not talking 1 or 2,each plant had at least 50 each. I mean they were all over.
I have a pretty watchful eye on the garden,the nanners were inside the buds pushing themselves out. So I never saw them until it was to late. In buds,around the buds all over from the top to the bottom was covered. I in no way blame Dutch Passion for this. Being that the Blueberry has thai in it,it`s no wonder they went hermi. From what I hear some Thai strains just have that gene in them that causes this. If you find a female that does not toss nanners or tosses very few then keep her for sure. I am going to try Blueberry again but not from DP. I will go with DJ $horts True Blueberry. Take

thanks. i aways wanted to try the dutch passoin blueberry but havent got around to it. i have herd from tons of poeple that that fem plants herm.... but thats crazy that your plants are that sensitive. gives me second thoughts on buying it. mybe ill get the SAGARMATHA SEEDS Blueberry Bud Feminized

I ran these DP BB up to 11 weeks with not a nanner or any deformities, mutes, etc. It is going to be outstanding smoke too. The DP Mazar are even stronger, very nice.
