Nice! So fan right behind the bulb :) Might ponder a non CFL for one of my micros now :) The custom made cool tubes that dood had looked like they might cost a bit! I broke my cooltube too :(

Looks like we been reading same threads :) I was flip-flop tempted too! My monthly installments on power just went up :(

I've got a cracking plan in my head for a 150W micro vertical setup. Max yield for the computer case growers. When I can I'll notch up a little plan. What were the dimensions of that beasty server case you had?

Could start shotting them on eBay LOL

Yeah it sounds good! I was just gonna go for diamond mylar and try stuff as many cfls in as i can but im unsure now heh. I'm not sure yet still need to get it here and give it a measure :)

EDIT: Actually it's 63cm H x 42.5cm W x 65cm D (24.6" x 16.6" x 25.4") Hows that sounding for max cfl lightage? I have a few big ass fans in there I can use but only really wanted to use 2 to make an inline fan for extake and one for intake :)

wait i realy dont get why you need an ac for a 400w light?

surely a cooltube with the reflector removed and sufficiant airflow wont overheat anything.

im planning a 2 shelf octaginal grow with 2 plants on each edge of the octagon, 32 plants in 1.4l containers and a 250w hps.

im going to be running the filter and fan attached directly to the cooltube and have the filter sat on the floor of the cab, then from the cooltube exhausting out.

Yeah, prob don't tbh, was just reading too much into other systems on here.

I've let this thread go quiet, but I'm definately still on the case, tweaking and messing about with things. Will post some updates soon!
