Anti's MicroStealth Cab Design (Dr. Bud Method)
I'll be watering tomorrow and I'll take some new pics.
For any of you interested in the bionicam. It has a composite video out on it so you can plug it into your TV. You can still record to its flashcard while doing that! So instead of having to try to get your shot framed up on a 3" screen, you can look at the image on your TV while you take your pics. Makes things MUUUUCH easier. Just a thought.

Had everybody out toweling off after their bath and I decided to get some shots.

I figured that we're getting pretty close to the end, being that it's been 57 days since the onset of flowering. And that is eight weeks my friends! I'll be watching trichs like crazy the next few days and harvest can't be far along. Since we're near the end, I figured I would take individual shots of the four plants that I've introduced you to throughout this grow.
Remember tri-top? Kinda disappointed with her, which is why you haven't seen or heard from her in a while. But in the interests of full disclosure and for science, here she is:

Next up is the biggest and most purple of my three purple ladies, Magical Mystery Plant #6:

My runner up as "most likely to help the winner fill my cab up with clones and thereby live on for years to come," is Magical Mystery Plant #3. Looks a lot like my AK but has developed her own distinctly funky aroma:

And finally the one plant that I would be heartbroken to have croak... the plant because of whom all the others could yield .5 grams each and I'd still be satisfied with this grow. The plant who could be the ONLY genetics in this cab and still put a smile on my face. (Though I'm pretty sure #3 is gonna make it, and maybe #6 or someone else will surprise me....) If you've been watching, it's not even a contest.... my AK47:

but one question how is that diy carbon scrubber working out for you?
its it stealth enough that i could not even tell there is plants growing? (I have that nose wear as soon as you smell weed your month starts to water)

If money is no object, spend the $120 on that one. It looks like a solid product. But keep in mind that I have very little experience with professionally built scrubbers. Says that one is rated at 170 CFM, so without some kind of fan controller or rheastat or something, I think you might be looking at hurricane force winds whipping through your canopy if your cab is similar in size to mine. My whole cab (including lights, fan exhaust vents, drying room, everything!) is a lil over 6 CF, so 170 CFM would exchange the air 28 times per minute!
I built my DIY scrubber for about $20 as a slight revision of RedGreenery's scrubber and mine is doing a great job. If you had space to build a DIY 'tube' scrubber that uses 360 degrees of carbon, I bet you'd have even better results. (But building one in my small space wasn't gonna be easy, so I did it this way.) When I take the doors off, I get a blast of "WEEEED" in the face that just isn't there when the doors are on. (Even when I just got back from several hours away from the house.)
On the other hand, I have come home a few times and noticed a faint odor when I enter the same room with the cab. (Room size is maybe 8ftx10ft.) When this happens, I open the cab, pull out the carbon box, shake it around a little bit, and put it back in. The next time I check, all is good.
If I had the money, I would plan my container size, taking into account ALL the places air will be traveling (not just the size of the plant rooms) and then get a commercial fan and scrubber that were rated well above THAT.
But I don't have money yet. One way I am working to correct that situation is by removing my need to spend a noticeable portion of my income procuring medicine from retailers.
In a few harvests, when I really determine what is possible in this amount of space, I will probably build a new, better, flashier cab with some of the money that I am no longer spending on bud.

I popped into the IC chatroom and asked people's opinions. Two people there agreed that based on the three shots below, I have a week or two to go before harvesting.
Love to hear anyone's thoughts on this.

Looks like mostly cloudy, and a couple amber. I would cut now for maximum THC. Amber means the THC has degraded, so if you want an "up", THC high, you want to cut before they go more amber. On the other hand, some people like heavy amber, which produces "heavy" smoke, or couchlock.A matter of taste.

indeed that mystery #3 looks to do well for this style of grow, but then again so does that ak47, this grow has given me a little more confidence in 12/12 from seed, i need to go through alot of bagseed to find a nice keeper lol.

60 days is kinda early, but it happens. The pics are awesome, but its your own eye that must be the judge. Be sure you see some amber before you yank em. The different strains likely will not mature at the same time.

Boy am I glad I didn't chop that AK down! It's swelled noticeably since the last watering.
I did a full inspection of all 13 plants tonight and I decided to share them all with you. Everything you will see is at 100x magnification. Different pictures of each plant are from different areas on the plant. These were taken tonight, and everybody was watered and put away for the night.
I appreciate the feedback so far and I'd love to hear any and all opinions and estimates of any of the plants you see below.

I did a full inspection of all 13 plants tonight and I decided to share them all with you. Everything you will see is at 100x magnification. Different pictures of each plant are from different areas on the plant. These were taken tonight, and everybody was watered and put away for the night.
I appreciate the feedback so far and I'd love to hear any and all opinions and estimates of any of the plants you see below.

I may have missed it in the thread, but have you stopped adding nutrients yet? You know, 5-10 days of flush with just water. Redgreenery is a good guy to talk to about this stage of your grow. Besides flushing, he leaves them in the dark for the last 72 hours before harvest. I asked him why, but I can't remember what he said. Must have been medicated.
