How does SOL Sweettooth3 compare with Barneys Sweettooth?

Are they the same thing? I know Breeder Steve of SOL created his Sweettooth3 from a Vancouver grapefruit cutting, but what of Barney's? Did barney's get their genetics from Steves Sweettooth3?

How do the flavours & smoke compare?

Maybe you should put a little signature someplace on all of your photos. You have many nice photos of big buds.

What if some sneaky seed company steals one of your photos to sell their seeds ? I've read about that happening before. I doubt that those kind of people would have any reservations about "stealing" pictures also. There certainly seems to be a lot of bickering about who stole which genetics in the breeding world, so why not steal a picture or two ?

Steve's is the only "real deal" sweet tooth.

anything breeder steve has done is "real deal"...id take steves 2nds 3rds and 4ths over almost anones shit anyday.

Hey CMoon - I let her go 65 days (harvest shots and rest of the grow - http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=73695&page=28), she probably could have gone another week in hindsight.




And NOKUY is correct. From what I hear, there are big differences between this Barneys Farm Sweet Tooth and the real deal. Doesn't mean the BF version isn't good smoke though....

I've got to say there Sammet, impressive photo indeed. As you said in your earlier post that "it doesn't mean the BF version isn't good.....". With so many seedbanks and so many different releases of differing versions of strains, there will always be debate (mostly constructive). People interpret different traits, taste and high, differently. Seedbanks often re market old names of strains, many legitimately from past genetics. I suspect that some though would be more a case of the strain closely resembling a past favorite. Because people interpret their smoke differently i think that this probably is why many people claim that one is clearly not the same as the other. I'm not accusing any of the previously mentioned seedbanks of this, it's just a thought i had. I suppose it's up to the individual and if you loved that sweet mj, that's the main thing. Different smokes for different folks i reckon......

I've had many good pheno's from both lines of Sweet tooth and in fact one of my prize mostly indica males is an f3 of sweet tooth1(f) x Barneys(m) and I have keeper girls from both. They are quite diff but both delicious...Original swt1 being more honey sweet,grapefruity citrus and Barney's more cakey,gingerbready with a lttle grapefruit maybe. I found less purple amongst the Barneys stock also whereas original has almost blueberry pheno's. I haven't worked steve's later versions of swt but have smoked a few and all were the Shizzle,lovely stuff everytime.
Never had any bad Sweet tooth yet of any kind but mite just have been luck 4 me! Its all had a kind of Happy,slightly lively but mostly Indica buzz to them more or less IMO....great after-party chill-out ganja and makes dope dry-sift as well....... JBo.

SOL sweet tooth #3 was the first killer strain i ever grew..got seeds from a shop in london after they had been released. very very good strain with great high,taste,bag appeal,smell etc. the only draw back was in got attacked by mold being i didnt monitor my RH and watered to heavy with not enough venting and fresh air.. prob didnt help me being located in a basement. still have the #3 & #4 still in seed form

The original father of swt#3 is lost so they're not able to make any more.
If they do release it again it will be a remake of Swt or perhaps even an IBL.
