Tobacco and curing

the seeds have to be one of the easiest things to germ
they are small, sure, but you only have to surface sow them, keep moist and in a week or two (at most) you should see sprouts
just thin them out after sowin them and keep them in a nice sized pot they will be ok
sometimes you have to watch out some can have a larger taproot and if you break too much of it off the plant may not recover

otherwise the lower leaves are for sure something you dont want to pick and smoke because they get covered in dirt and become leathery and nasty
but lettin them yellow on the plant is one option to remove chlorophyll, but it doesnt always get the taste/smell to it

Tobacco also makes excellent organic bug control..!!

Place some dried tobacco into a bucket of water over night,, strain the water,, and spray on infested areas of plants!

depending on the tobacco you can veg it under whatever light cycle and it grows well indoors, give it lots of space though they can get big
some tobacco are long day, some short day (like cannabis) and some day neutral so they just flower whenever so jsut give it light accordingly or jsut grow it at the right time. might be kind of small in a window sill but you could still grow some mini plants
its really pretty easy stuff iin my experience

Reviving an old thread. Mine are all reveging from where I cut them also... frost and all, looks like they are going to survive. It doesn't seem like an annual.

I always fail on the cure... mine never tastes that nice. I'd love to grow my own smoke.. but it always turns out to be less than average and too light.

Marlboro, Camel and Pall Mall all suit my taste. Where do you get your seeds? What should I grow?

What happened to this site since overgrow?... seems so dead. Been away so long.
